By Jamie

A compass rose shows the cardinal directions (North, east, south, west). A fact I know about a compass rose is that a compass rose is helpful on maps and globes. I learned that the cardinal directions on a compass rose can help you describe the relative location of a place. A question I have is did the compass rose inspire people to make other materials that can guide us? For example, the GPS and google maps.
