I felt I needed more support/direction/direct links to set up placement. Working for free makes no sense in many ways in the current climate and has had a huge impact on my overall life. I felt that the list from uni was not reflective of what was real and that actually getting a placement should not have been that difficult and many people who might want to do this course would be unable to progress their career, despite a huge need for therapists if they are not supported to get paid placements. A Variety of Models are Covered

The course covers a variety of models (e.g. Ehlers / Clark and Heimberg for SAD) which I think is a huge bonus for our learning. I've heard from colleagues who have trained elsewhere that certain models are 'preferred' and encouraged rather than being led by what's best for the patient

I would be grateful if trainees are given the message that they are expected to see non-training cases, alongside the training cases. I find that some THITs believe their caseload needs to be of training cases only

Staff training for lecturers as they sometimes don't know how to fix IT issues in real time. Also, black boxes keep appearing on the screen which get in the way of seeing content - asked about in lecture but seemed to be no fix

Some of the lecturers I have struggled to maintain engagement with the content online - I am not sure if this is due to the first term being near fully online or that lectures could have support in how to deliver content online compared to in person

I find it is hard for practicing skills when trying to "act" as someone else via a scenario. Doing activities where you are asked to consider sharing your own experiences or thinking about yourself seem to work better (for me anyway)

Very supportive supervisors who are always willing to share resources

Lecturers and group supervisors are very supportive and engaging. Special thanks to Matt, Muge & Jill for all their support and teaching. I would recommend this course to future students.
