The main story intrigues me and i want to see what consequences Hermia and Lysander will face for trying to run away and how they will continue with their love although is against everyone. I expect the book to get more interesting and explore greek culture and law. It is a classic so it must be good.

The plot shifts in scene 2 showing us different characters. I'm curious about how this characters will cross their paths with the main story characters.

Bottom gets turned into an ass-head by Puck and the other actors run away in fear because of Bottom's new look. Puck asks Bottom to follow him. Titania wakes up under the influence of the flower and falls in love with Bottom with an ass-head. In the second scene, Demetrius is under the flower's influence too, and falls in love with Helena. Both men start to fight for Helena's love and she thinks they are mocking her. Hermia arrives and is angry, she feels betrayed because she thinks Helena took Lysander from her. Lysander is rude to Hermia. Oberon realizes his mistake and sends Puck to solve it. Puck makes everyone fall asleep and gives the flowers an antidote to Lysander dissolving the effects.

Shakespeare, W. (2016). Midsummer Night's Dream. Simon & Schuster.

Personally I didn't like the last chapter, for me the ending was rushed and the approach the author had with the ending wasn't as good for me. I didn't like the last speech and it wasn't a good ending for me

'Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” Matthew 5:9 (New International Version). Athough I didn't like the ending it was a peaceful and reasonable ending. The restoration of relationships in the play shows God’s desire to heal humanity to Himself and to one another. Showing that he is a God of peace.

Did the story was a dream? Some friends tried to spoil me the ending saying it was a dream, but although they were some references suggesting that the main story was a dream. It was not.

The lovers had conflicts at the end of the play? It all got solved without any consequences and the lovers got a good ending for each one of them.

Act 1: Helena gets introduced as a Hermia's best friend that gets pushed away because Hermia gets the attention. She is desperate for Demetrius love while he is in love with Hermia and fighting for the right to marry her. We can deduced that she is insecure because of the situation she lives with Demetrius and Hermia.

Act 2-3: Her insecurities reflected more when both Lysander and Demetrius are affected by the magical flower making them fall in love with Helena. She thinks the boys are mocking her and cant believe they're in love with her. She is confused and vulnerable in this acts.

Acts 4-5: I don't think Helena is shown much in the last chapters. But because her dream came true and she got to marry Demetrius. She is happy and restored. She develops throughout the play as the one that nobody cares off into fulfilling her dream and getting married to the boy of her dreams.

By the end of the play, do you think the play has ended happily or unhappily. How so, how not, and for whom? The play ended happily for everyone. Everyone got to marry who they wanted (except Demetrius before the flower). It is not fair for Demetrius because it can be called a fake love. But after the flower affected him he loves Helena, so technically for his actual state of mind I suppose he is happy.

Have characters' conflicts been truly resolved or only repressed, forgotten, or ignored? I doubt after the marriage ceremony they would be problems related to the flowers. Some can argument the problems only have been repressed but for me it got solved.
