On top of the normal visual and hearing technology my phone has, it has an APP section which shows the apps I have downloaded for easier accessibility, including the link from my phone to my computer and printing app. A person with a disability might use these features for memory of what they have/can explore new features that may be recommended to them. Someone with eye sight loss may utilize features on a cell phone to increase text or have text read to them.

I have difficulties with keeping on track, especially when reading. I think this would benefit many students who struggle with or have behaviors around reading, due to it's difficulties. But also, I have seen audio from text to be beneficial for many students. Another good sight my old school district used was NewsELA which not only had an audio option, but also could change the article based on reading level.

As someone who sits in meetings all day, this would be helpful to have notes for when I zone out of them. But for a student or individual, having this for school notes or meeting notes, would allow them to be more accessible. I remember struggling with note taking in school and know this would've been helpful. Then to be able to ask the AI questions about what you need to remember? I'm actually blown away.

I actually tried to use this in a meeting with a co worker and just couldn't. I've had conversations about boards and systems like this. I understand the simplicity of this, but at the same time, if we are teaching communication, then we should be teaching full communication. What's missing? a lot, more specifically I notice feelings, conversational words, names, people specific names, etc are missing. Swear words too, why are we not giving access to those? I have yet to see a device or board include swear words. If someone is fustrated, they should be able to fully communicate that fustration.

I have auto correct disabled. I do love using my swipe function for the keyboard as it makes texting quicker. I also enjoy text prediction, especially when writing emails from my phone. Although it's not "built in" I utilize Grammarly. These support my EF with planning and thinking.

This individual enjoys gossip and struggles with social skills. Utilizing a check-in sheet would assist in the appropriate time and place to talk about the stuff they want to. In one of my recent grad school classes, someone actually brought up how VR is being used for individuals with disabilities and how it's the future. Is it? not sure, but if so, I think it could be VERY useful for teaching things like social skills. If we can create VR situations for the individuals to practice social skills/conversation skills in, I think it would generalize to reality well.

So I utilized chat GPT and it wrote me a fantastic email. I made some edits to it, but overall was happy with the experience. I think utilizing something like this could help individuals with writing things and making resumes or even social media posts and dating profiles.
