I think Roman houses were different for rich and poor people. Rich families lived in big villas with gardens and beautiful floors. Poor people stayed in small, crowded buildings that could catch fire easily. A fun fact is that Romans didn’t have glass windows. Some rich people used thin stone or animal shells to let light in.
