Assalamualaikum w.b.t and hello to everyone..

First of all, I want to introduce myself. My name is Nurul Sakinah Binti Ahmad Khusairi and I am a second year student of food technology from UiTM. In this semester, we are assigned by our lecturer, Dr. Khalilah to do a project on virtual microbe about the pathogenic foodborne microbe. In this task, we are divided into groups that include members from different universities which are UiTM, UPM, and also UMT. 

Norovirus is a pathogenic foodborne microbe that we choose as the title of the project. We divided the task into several subtopics such as the characteristics of norovirus, morphology, habitat, outbreak, how to detect, and its intervention. While doing the task given, we have to use different types of online tools such as Popplet, Padlet, Zoom, Blendspace, and others. By using Zoom application, we have done video conferences and other applications to do the task. Everyone in the group has to share the information in these tools.Therefore, no matter what, we have to know how to use them. After that, all the information shared in these applications are compiled into an infographic.

Doing this virtual microbe project give me a great knowledge and experience as I get to learn more about the pathogenic foodborne microbe, meet with students from other universities (though we only meet through video conference), and how to use the online tools and applications which I can use for my future project. Lastly, I want to thank all my group members for their efforts to complete this project.
