Me and my friend have gone to the pond because it was hot that day. When we got there, there was a group of about 10 friends and we noticed that every one was trying to get one boy to go in the water. We heard him say that he can't swim but his friend kept pressuring him and eventually he gave in. Me and my friend didn't 
really think anything of it, just teens being teens. So the boy who couldn't 
swim and another boy ran in the water and a couple minutes later I look over and see only one boy. The who couldn't swim was gone. at first everyone thought it was a prank and that he had ran off and hid but then the guy on the  shore said he didn't come out of the water. The boy had drowned 
 right there'd nobody noticed. We called an ambulance and they found his body the next   
day. And this story actually did make the news. His parents go to my church, and it was really sad to hear that they had lost 2 sons. Now they have 1 daughter left. :( It really affected me, because the police department should have been more aware.... They could've sent more officers with Mark Stasyuk. But no, he was shot in the head and then died hours later. I felt really bad for his wife. After me and my family came back from visiting my aunt in Los Angeles, we came back and one of our beloved chicken started acting strange, and wasn't the same anymore. We started to read in one of our book's signs that a chicken is about to pass away. We started following what the book said and did the best we could, but sadly our chicken passed away because it was her time. Yet, I will always remember our beloved chicken named Jen.
