Shoah is a Hebrew word, it means "devastating storm" (from the Bible, eg Isaiah 47, 11). It indicates the extermination of the Jewish people during the Second World War.
In fact, between 1939 and 1945, about 6
millions of Jews were systematically killed by the Nazis of the Third Reich
with the aim of creating a more 'pure' and 'clean' world. Along with the Jews were also exterminated the Slavs, Roma, political prisoners, homosexuals, the disabled.

Talking about Shoah or Holocaust means talking about the systematic extermination by the Nazis of millions of Jews
that happened in Europe during the Second World War,a genocide involving about 6 million Jews but also Roma, communists, homosexuals, Jehovah's Witnesses,  Slavic populations and who made a total of 14 million victims.
