I really like this song because it talks about our broken society. It talks about how our current society is addicted to technology and how everyone is sad and lonely. It talks about how people don't really try to find love and people just find people to just be with. It also talks about how modern media is always talking about how lonely they are and how sad they are and about their addictions and stuff and how we need to become more happier.

In the Musical, Kathy has gotten a letter from her husband that she's been with for five years. He's lied to her about cheating on her. I find this meaningful as people lie so many times and sometimes it's easier to hear the lies than the truth because the truth hurts. Also, sometimes, people leave without a word in fear of what the other person will respond with or what they will say.
