My maternal grandmother was an amazing woman. She endured so much in her life and she still managed to enjoy life and taught us to do the same. We miss her so much. Every year at my altar at home, I put out her favorite things. Tequila, pan de muerto, Vicente Fernandez cassette tape, her tejidos (knitting crafts) and a ring she gifted me because she loved her jewelry so much.

My grandparents, my best friend Rae Ann, my aunts, neighbors, our family Santa, dear friend Sam, my fur baby Ali. I know my grandpa would love dancing and singing this song. We played it at his funeral with the mariachis and for this occasion it is fitting.
