On December 7, 1941, the Japanese Air force had attacked Pearl Harbor, leaving massive damage on those who were unfortunate enough to witness the power of Japan.
The Sole Survivor

The only survivor in the midget submarines was Kazuo Sakamaki, a young man who was captured by the Americans the day after the attack. Like all the other young men, he was honored to be part of the Pearl Harbor mission and was willing to risk his life for the sake of the country. Even though he knew the possible doom that awaited him, he and everyone else still continued to carry on with the mission. The other young men's deaths won't be in vain and they will be remembered as heroic and honorable men.

Sonamoo Komida, one of the men who died in one of the midget submarines, wrote a poem about how his family should not worry about his death and that it was for the sake of Japan. He was a good role model for all the other young men who are willing to protect Japan and the Emperor. May he rest in peace and may his family not mourn for the death of their son, for it was a sacrifice worth sacrificing.
