You are a daughter of the King.

And daughters of the King
don't need to beg for a seat

a purpose written
before your first breath.

There will be days
when you feel forgotten.

Days when your prayers
seem to disappear into the ceiling.

Days when everyone else
appears to be moving forward
while you are standing still.

But remember:

God is not absent in the waiting.
He is building you there.

The hidden seasons
are not wasted seasons.

The tears nobody sees
are not invisible to Heaven.

The battles you fight quietly
are producing a strength
that applause could never give you.

So, young woman,
guard your heart.

Guard what enters your mind.
Guard what you allow yourself to believe.
Guard your body.
Guard your friendships.
Guard your calling.

Not because you are afraid of the world
but because you understand
what God has placed inside you is valuable.

You don't have to become louder
to become powerful.

You don't have to become harder
to become strong.

You don't have to become like the world
to prove that you belong.

You can be gentle
and still be fierce.

You can be soft
and still have boundaries.

You can cry
and still be courageous.

You can walk alone
and still be completely surrounded
by the presence of God.

And when the world tells you,
"Become somebody,"
remember that Heaven is whispering:

"Become who I created you to be."

You are not here merely
to survive your childhood.

You are being prepared
to carry something.

To carry wisdom.
To carry love.
To carry truth.
To carry healing.
To carry courage.
To carry the presence of God
into places that have forgotten Him.

One day,
another little girl may look at you
and believe she can become more
because you chose not to give up.

So keep becoming.

Keep praying.

Keep learning.

Keep your heart tender.

Keep your standards high.

Keep your eyes on Jesus.

And when you don't know
who you are anymore,
go back to the One
who knew you before you knew yourself.

Because your identity
was never supposed to be found
in a relationship,
a mirror,
a number on a scale,
a social media screen,
someone else's approval,
or the opinions of people.

Your identity is found in Him.

You are chosen.
You are seen.
You are loved.
You are called.
You are becoming.

And one day,
you will look back at the girl
who almost gave up
and realise

God was holding her
the entire time.

So rise, daughter.

Wipe your tears.

Lift your head.

There is still purpose in your story.

There is still oil in your lamp.

There is still fire in your bones.

There is still a future
with your name written on it.

You are not too young to be used by God.

You are not too broken to be restored.

You are not too ordinary to be chosen.

You are not too far gone to come home.

You are His daughter.

And Heaven is still writing
your story.
