The message for this documentary is to show the UK how important the emergency services are. They state facts in this video such as; "There is an ambulance dispatched every 5 seconds in the UK and every ambulance that is dispatched costs £250 each time." The purpose of this documentary is to show what happens behind the scenes and to give people a clearer understanding to what the services actually provide and do for citizens. The program is an hour long which is the usual length for a documentary which is shown on TV. There are scenes where paramedics are being interviewed, behind the scenes of real life emergencies and even shots on an onward camera in the car on the way to a medical emergency.
I like that they include real life situations so we can get a real insight to what it is really like.

This documentary is slightly different because it is following one specific man who is talking about being with his condition and why people like him are being excluded from getting help from the NHS. He has a condition called schizoaffective disorder which is a combination of schizophrenia and depression. He is investigating why people are failing to get the correct treatment for it and is trying to educated people and raise awareness to people just like him. In this documentary, they also interview people with the condition which is interesting because we can see how the condition affects people in different ways.
They express some story opinions and views on how the NHS could do more to help people like them instead of time wasters who have nothing wrong with them.
They also follow him around while he is doing day to day activities to show how he can be affected on a daily basis.
The first clip in the documentary is of the boys face while he is walking with music over the top of it. This is to try and show the world from his perspective and to try and explain how he feels inside by using music and a close up of his face.

This documentary is about the doctors who work for the NHS. Some of them are interviewed and they explain what they have to do on a daily basis, the shift patterns, why the NHS isn't everybody's first job choice and explains the reasons. He explains that the job of working at A&E can be incredibly stressful because the hospital is built for 90,000 patients a year but on average, they get 140,000 patients a year which causes huge problems because of the lack of beds and space for patients.
They have a voice over person telling us what is happening so we understand clearer, and explaining things in greater detail. I think this is good to have in a documentary because some viewers might get confused as to what is happening in the program.
They also have text on the screen giving us facts.

This animation was made by the NHS to try and raise awareness for the fact that people go to A&E for unnecessary reasons. It has come to light that people panic over things they shouldn't panic about and take a trip to A&E when they really don't need to. Things such as a headache, a common cold or a cough. These are not reasons to take up space at an emergency room. People who really need to see a doctor or a paramedic have to wait longer to get help because doctors are busy checking to see if anything is seriously wrong with people who have a cold and who are paranoid. There are other options for these people such as a pharmacy, a GP or they could ring 111 to see if they are in need of serious medical attention.
This video has a really clear message and they use a humorous song to try and get the message across. I think this works because it can be appealing to children, teenagers or even adults. It's easy to understand but also gets the message across.
The man singing has a clear voice which is also very important so we can hear all of the points clearly.

This animation is a great way of getting a message across. It's really fun to watch because it is has bright and vibrant colours which makes it easy to watch and really engaging. It would be targeted at near enough anyone, it would appeal to children and young adults because it's a quirky idea and they use some humour in it. It doesn't have any talking in but has some sound effects which adds to the funniness.
The animation is really good because it has been drawn which i think is good because it means they could do whatever they want. It is quite factual because it shows some text which informs the audience about when they should be visiting A&E or a GP etc.

This animation is very factual. it carries so many facts and figures and is very informative. We are shown different facts on the screen.
There is a lady voice over reading us the facts and telling us different information. This is good because for any younger audience members, they can take on board the information instead of having to read.
The animation is interesting and has very dull colours as it is aimed at the older generation more so they don't get distracted by the bright colours.
The message of the video is about how scientists are driving innovation into the NHS. They talk about how scientists have great ideas and could come up with some great things for the NHS and that they have the ability to transform how patients are treated.

This is an e-book which is used with animation and voice overs. It is a group still photographic images that are made into a story. It's quite long for an e-book but they are aimed at keeping children occupied for as long as possible.
The music over the video is loud and the colours are muted but its's still quite colourful. There are different sound effects and i think the more sounds and music the better because its less boring.

The drawings for this e-book are quite unrealistic and looks like quite bad quality. It could have been made better if the images flowed together properly and a bit smoother.
The music over the top is good but is quite boring so could be goos for a child if the parents are trying to get them to sleep.
I feel like the video could bring some enjoyment to kids as the story is easy to follow.
I think this could be a more difficult and more time consuming way of making a video.
