Mary was born and raised in Michigan but moved to Florida in 2006 to begin her career in education. She taught CTE Business Education in a brick and mortar setting for over 11 years before moving back to Michigan in 2017 to be near family.          <description><![CDATA[<div>I’m Kathlene Stephen and I live in upstate NY with my twin boys and husband.  </div><div>I am in my 18<sup>th</sup> year of education and in my fourth year with Edmentum.  I started teaching at the university level as an undergraduate student. For the first 4 years, after graduation, I taught in a brick and mortar school, then transitioned to online education.  I’m passionate about my children, education and sports.  I love teaching higher level math such as calculus and discrete math.  Everyone can learn math, it’s just a matter of presenting it, in such a way, the student can relate. </div>]]></description>
