Plato would probably agree with idea that finding your perfect partner can help you ascend to divinity (the gods, which are 1 rung below the Forms).<br>W. Hamilton says: This speech is one of Plato's most brilliant literary acheivements.<br><br>Agathon:<br>He contributes the idea that the object of Love is beauty.
