But in exploring some of the ones I am not familiar with, they were overwhelming in terms of what was offered.

Additionally, lots need a "free trial" which is annoying.

I tried to play with Equatio but it was not at all functional or useful for what I was hoping to use it for (AI generating problems). I didn't even know how to navigate to where that particular supposed-functionality exists.

I needed to find a collaborative platform for students to use to complete homework. It allows me to upload homework questions and they can complete them at their leisure. If students are confused, they can use the instant messaging feature to ask each other questions so they can feel less isolated when they study. They can also connect and share perspective/strategy.

Sharing because these are some of my go-to programs which I end up recommending to many other people.

Bullzip PDF printer - amazing (especially in working online) - free program that can "print" to a PDF and even merge different PDF files together. I also had used it to be able to "print" multiple JPG files into a single PDF file (necessary for online marking efficiency).

AdobeScan - free smartphone app to digitize to PDF, super user-friendly, straightforward, intuitive, can re-order pages, crop, recolour, etc. and share via email or direct link.
