-Reread chapter plan from diss prep and follow on from there: Plan the theories that are going to be in chapter 1 to start the beginning of the research.
-September 4th: Found relevant theory in Georg Simmel's journal from 1904 addressing the relation of fashion and social class.
-Start making a list of key points that I want to cover in my diss, I know this will change along the way but I would rather have a starter point early on.
-Highlighted quotes from Owen Jones book which I know I want to include in my dissertation at points: “Chav-bashing draws on a long, ignoble tradition of class hatred. But it cannot be understood without looking at more recent events. Above all, it is the bastard child of a very British class war.”
