A fact I learned was the word "Pumpkin" comes from the Greek word "Pepon" meaning large melon. I thought it was cool because it is fun learning about what other cultures call pumpkin.

One fact I learned about pumpkins is that in 2010 the worlds largest pumpkin was 1810 pounds!!! Thats 11 times as many as me!!! This seems interesting because I like learning in pounds.

I learned that punkins can get over a 1000

pounds.I liked it because I never though it could get that heavey.Now I know that punkins can be almost as big and wide as a farm animal.

One fact that i learned about pumkins is that pumkins can be red,yellow,white,green. Something i have never seen is a pumkin that is over 1,000 pounds (450 million kgs)! i did not know that pumkin comes from the greek word "Pepon" means large pumkin and befor i though pumkins were boring but after watching the video i now thik pumkins are really cool!

Giant pumpkins can be grown for competitions, with some weighing of 1,000 pounds!!! I think that is realy cool because when ever I get my pumpkin I can pritty easaly pick it up. but if it was a 1,000 pounds then I would defently not be able to even move it a inch.
