1)Mestrovic(1997) claims that with the fake emotions these days cooperations materialize happiness so that people can't find happiness dependent on objects that they purchase.

2)We agree that consumerism could provide a form of liberation and self-expression to an extent.Money can be seen as the most precious thing in people's lives and people have freedom to trade their money with what they want to buy.

3.The writer suggests that the central and the local state should revive the public life by promoting socio-environmental agendas.Instead of not acting up on it.

1- Mestrovic(1997) claims that companies and industries whom benefit from consumers expect a burst of emotion in order to exploit people's feelings through selling goods more and more.

2- Yes because consumers ,especially young ones, want to find out what is spectacular for their friends and other society members. They want to express themselves in a unique way.

3- Cahill(2001) supports that the socio-environmental problems can only be solved by sustaining society's identity and adopting sustainable lifestyle. He claims that the government need to awake public life and encourage socio-environmental actions.
