It all started when my mother was going to go to her cousin's house and she found her two cousin's talking to my dad. My mom happened to catch interest and same with my dad. So I guess you can call this a love at first sight kind of thing. Then my dad, asked my mom's cousins about my mom and who she was, he wanted to talk to her and yeah. Then one day, my dad approached my mom and they started talking all out of the blue. They became closer and closer little by little. Then my dad decided to make his mom and he asked my mom to the movies which today is known as iMAX. My dad got there in his ragedy a** truck and saw my mom sitting there. He goes up to and starts a casual conversation and starts with "Hey so how was your day?' and then to "What movie do you want to watch?' After the movie my dad drove my mom home and thought to himself "Damn I gotta grow some" and you know what he was about to say. The next day, my mom's cousins approach him and tell him "Hey dude, you should really make a move! We thinks she's really into you!" My dad says "I know, I just have not found the right time to do so". They say " Well hurry bruh, she is waiting for you to make a move". My dad slides into her messages and tells her to meet up at Starbucks. They talk about how their day was, he even got to know her more he buys her a caramel frap and when they finish their drinks he drives her home. Before that my dad finally decided to make a move and before you know it they are dating.16 years later my parents have 4 kids. Me (Pedro), Oscar, Valentina, and Miranda. Sadly, a month or two ago my dad and mom's relationship went downhill real quick and my dad decides to get a divorce. It has been a few months and I am still not used to my dad not coming home anymore. Sometimes I would dream or imagine my dad coming home and tell me "Hey what is cooking?" as a joke though. I miss how things used to be. A few days after the divorce I would dream that the family was still together, but in reality it is all split in half like a peanut better and jelly sandwich. What I am about to say right now is very personal. When I was around 5-7 seven years of age, I would always hear arguments. Throughout my life time, I have seen my dad hit my mom 3 damn times and she dealt with his crap for almost 26 years. Sometimes I think, maybe this is for the best for all of us. It sucks but is is what it is. The only thing left to do is forget about it and leave it all behind. Whether it is love for a parents, companion, pet, family member, love is love and love is powerful. But what really makes this relevant or very important is that it brings people together. Love can also tear two people apart but it all depends. In my opinion, I feel like love is all one big experiment. You can ask some girl to a date, if it goes wall then she want it, if not then you just simply move on until you find "The one" or feel like that one person is the person that you want for the rest of your life, and here is one thing to remember. Don't get too down if you break up or if it doesn't work with that person you were hitting up was not worth your time and you will find the right one. It takes time, like deada**. It could probably take 15 years to find the person you want to be with for the rest of your life. My point here is, don't be the next Hannah Baker all depressed and all that mumbo jumbo stuff. You do you and wait till you feel like that special person.
