Lake Okeechobeeis the larggest freshwater lake inFL.

It is also the second biggest freswater lake in the withen the United States.

Only Iliamma Lake in Alaska is bigger.

. Henry Flagler had planed to stay there, but because of the freeze he didn't.

Reefs are butiful structures

in or around the reef. It is home

to many buitiful fish. Many

people like to go scubadiving to

see the reef.

& stores. They are a real tourist

atraction. They can even have

awsome shows.

In 1965 the voting acts right started. Blacks were not allowed to vote. They did peaceful protests to allow them to vote. Many blacks were arrested for protesting. They made many signs like in this picture.

Ybor city has of the first cigare factorys in Florida. There were people always making cigares in the factory. To make the people working more interested they would get read to. This also helped them learn about the country.

25% of people were unemployed because the stock market went down. The 3 R's are: Relief, Recovery, and Reform. Relif is for the people to get mone in their pockets. Recovery is for example WPA...the Work Progress Association. Reform is to stabilize the country .

Manny immigrants come to Florida to live, or to get away from any war that is going on in their country. Two of the most immigrants that have came to Florida from Peru andColumbia. There are manny colturial groups in Florida.
