The Chinese cosmic conception, on the other hand, is based on the assumption that everything that occurs in the universe is a continuous whole, similar to a chain of natural consequences. Because of the primeval pair, the yang and the yin, all events in the universe follow a transitional process. The universe does not expand, but rather revolves without beginning or end. There is nothing new under the sun; what is "new" is merely a repetition of what was previously (Quito 1991). Human happiness is found in conformity with nature, or dao/tao; the wise, therefore, conforms to tao and is happy.

– According to his Third Critique, the Critique of Judgement, beauty is ultimately a symbol of morality.
– We must disregard any practical motives or inclinations we may have and instead focus on the object without being distracted by our desires.
– The beautiful—inspires us to believe that nature and humanity are part of a larger plan.
– The orderliness and harmony of nature lead us to a more profound religious perspective.

-The works of philosopher Herbert Marcuse serve as the foundation for this investigation into the possibility of human happiness. The thesis investigates the social, psychological, and philosophical foundations for establishing a general happiness. It also seeks to clarify the inherent difficulties and limitations associated with such a condition. The study investigates the underlying relationship between the exercise of reason and the premise of happiness, beginning with an examination of the hedonistic and eudemonistic traditions.
