I use Nicole Shelby's 3rd grade Language Interactive Notebook, and also her Reading one. I have found that I add my own spin on a lot of it, and have even re-created some of the topics to be more applicable to my own class.
https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/3rd-Grade-Language-Interactive-Notebook-Common-Core-aligned-770744

Organizational skills and following directions are an added benefit of doing INBs. Yes, it takes a little extra time to color, cut, glue, but they're KIDS! They should be coloring, cutting, and gluing and with the lack of fine motor skill practice, this is a perfect time to do this. I often plan my INB activities during a time when I know my OT will be in the classroom to observe and assist those students she works with (or should be working with!).

I don't care if some of my students "hate" coloring, etc. (Blunt, I know!) There are always things you dislike doing, possibly because you're not good at them, but that doesn't mean that you should be able to get out of doing them. It is unreal to expect all students to be comfortable with everything you do. Learning should be uncomfortable... to a point.
