Positief: De toeristen hebben positieve invloed omdat ze de bevolking dingen leren waardoor ze beter ontwikkelen, bv. De mensen nieuwe landbouwtechnieken leren waardoor er beter oogst is. En de toeristen respecteren de gewoonten van de culturen wel.

MILIEU:
Negatief: De toeristen hebben wel een zeer sterke invloed op het milieu voornamelijk door uitlaatgassen van voertuigen en door afval achter te laten in de zee of regenwoud.
Positief: Maar er zijn ook veel actieplannen om de natuur te redden en kweekprogramma's voor de dierendoor toeristen dat is natuurlijk positief.

ECONOMIE:
Positief: Er zijn veel fondsen zoals 11/11/11 die kansarme landen helpt beter te ontwikkelen door geld te stichten of door schooltjes op te richten. Als de toeristen naar dat land reizen gaat het geld van de reis voor een deel naar de bevolking.
