There are many pros and cons.
The upside is that advanced technology allows us to scour the Internet for reliable information, whenever in doubt. It helps us connect more easily with our loved ones, especially when distance is a barrier. Makes everything more accessible. Being able to know what is happening around the world without reading the newspaper. Which reduces the number of newspaper readers, in this case, using less paper to save the environment. But in some ways it complicates things. The downside is after all that has been mentioned, how easy it is to get connected online. People tend not to interact much in real life.
