I think it is harming kids. They rely so heavily on it, th they don't know how to cope without it. I was talking to a PE teacher and we discussed how students don't know how to free-play anymore because they are used to everything being organized for them. Technology isn't allowing students to think for themselves. I believe that it is a good thing, but used in moderation. I do believe that technology is changing the way kids learn and it is helping them learn better. It helps teachers be able to pull in outside sources.

Yes, I do believe students are relying on technology a little too much, but some assignments do require a need for it. The downfall with children using too much technology is that they don't know how to live life without it. It keeps students from learning how to communicate and socialize with others. Also, students are so dependent on it that they have the mindset that they need to use the Internet to think.
