OCTOBER 12, 2012. There's this kid who came from a poor and tidy-dignity family; He would regularly go to the dumpsites or any place that is filled with recyclable trash to weigh for the price. His name is Agustin "Gustin" Laude, a kid who dreamed to be a professional Doctor one day, so that he would bring his family out of poverty and take them to different magical places in the world with his brand new shoes. Gustin is a very hardworking child and; a good role as a brother, child, and student. One day he found this bag in the garbage filled with a lot of money. He reported this incident to the Barangay Hall and tell it as soon to the Barangay Captain. He decided that he would return the money to its rightful owner instead of making use of it for his future and for his family. I was inspired by this documentary video made by a news network. Not all of the people nowadays would speak for the truth and make actions for the truth. Even for students; Just a simple test won't hurt but once you cheated, it will make points for your stay in hell. Gustin made us hope again that the youth will still bring back the "Ang kabataan ay pag-asa ng bayan." of Jose Rizal, also our faith in humanity will be restored. As a person living in this ruptured and cruel society, we all have that one purpose (and what I mean for 'we' is ALL OF US LIVING RIGHT NOW AT THIS VERY MOMENT), that purpose is to seek for the truth. WE UNITE FOR THE TRUTH, WE MUST LIVE FOR THE TRUTH. Why? Because the truth will set you free. From all the grudge that you've been having, the confusions that you are still working out, the unsolved mysteries of this world. Be like Gustin.
