In "The boy on the left had no future" Ryan Williams wasn't doing well in a poor area where people around him were petty criminals. We think it’s a little of both, in “the boy on the left had no future” his school environment changed to something a lot better and then his school work became a lot better, but he was a really smart kid to begin with. So it’s a little of both genes and environment

what we have gotten to know, that it mainly is because of the environment he is in.

But he also got the offer, to go to a new school, and in that way he got upportunity, wich not any kid gets.
