Learners can still complete the last week task on Rockalingua; it is a game to practice the location of the Spanish speaking countries. Please, visit the section “Rockalingua” to have access to the login information. 

Moreover, this week we have assigned one Spanish spaking country to each student. They will research about that country as a homework and next week they will add their homework to Seesaw and they will add a voice record. In the section “Online games and more” you can find a copy of the example and the template for the homework in case the learner needs one more copy. Furthermore, you can have access to the class lists to know the country that each learner will research.

Thank you for researching with the learners at home about a Spanish speaking country. The learners who haven´t completed the homework can still do it and bring the paper to the next lesson so they can complete the activity in Seesaw. In the document attached, you can see the status of the task of each learner. Green means that they have completed the activity, yellow means that they have to make some changes in Seesaw (they will make the changes during the lesson time) and orange means that they haven´t completed the investigation yet. 

On the other hand, there is a new online game where learners can practice the location of the Spanish speaking countries with an interactive map. Also, learners can still log in into Rockalingua and complete the task that has been assigned two weeks ago in case they haven´t completed yet.

This week, learners continued working on their assessment related to the Spanish speaking countries in Seesaw. Moreover, they completed a listening activity about the different Spanish accents by completing a trivia quiz game. Learners can play the game again at home, you can find the link in the section “online games & more”.

On the other hand, you can still have access to the status of the learners´activtiy in Seesaw. The activity will be the listening and speaking assessment for this unit. Learners who haven´t started the activity yet can still bring their homework to complete the activity in the lesson time.

This week, learners continued working on their Seesaw activity. The ones who finished early made an activity to locate all the Spanish speaking countries in the map without looking at their notes. Also, we have started a collabored activity in Padlet tos hare one sentence about the Spanish speaking countries that each learner researched about. 

This weekend, they can visit the Padlet activty, read their friend´s sentences and leave them a ❤️. Also, they can add sentences if they didn´t do it in the lesson time.

Learners made a Padlet collaboration activity between 3A and 3B. This weekend, they can add more sentences or read their classmates‘ sentences and rate them with stars.
