An "average" piece, a "low, medium, &amp; high"?<br><br>When we begin a writing unit, for example, my team will choose some "needs" based on G3 and professional knowledge, and then leave some whole group lessons open for pop-up needs in class.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Piggy backing off of April's question...what is the role of technology in drating and publishing writing? I teach Grade 4 but in my school Grade 3 does almost all of their drafting and publishing using various TC paper choices but the Grade 5 writing classes are using Chrombooks to draft and publish work. In vertical alignment meetings we have discussed starting on Chrombooks mid-year but we also know that TC has some sound and fundamental reasons for drafting on paper using pens. I would like to think about this through the lens of agency. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I am wondering what advice you could give for me around teachers in Kindergarten who are saying that the EPYP states that we are moving away from explicit teaching in the Early Years and that there is no place for RW and WW in K. All reading and writing should come through the students play.<br><br>Also the workshop around text complexity sounds great. Wondering if you were thinking of adding one for K-2/3.
