During which Frado is treated horribly; her caretaker believes that to be black is to be evil, she teaches a young Frado that she is unworthy of God's love. It isn't until, under the guidance of Aunt Abby that she learns all of this is false. "She attended a meeting with Aunt Abby, and the good man urged all, young or old, to accept the offers of mercy... Come to Christ he urged."
