i predict that "bat" has autism because the way he acts for his age is unexceptable. And the fact that his family puts up with it is incredible.and the fact that his sister is kind rude too does not hlp bat b any better.and i think that the book proves my point because at the scene were he has a temper tantrum because of YOGURT!!!!!!man he gets me mad....anyway...i kinda see a text to text going on. i think it reminds me of the book RULES

I think my theory is correct because Bat can sometimes be weird. In the book it said that Bat flaps his arms up and down when he is angry , or when he is happy. So I think that he will get a temper tantrum , or be really happy in school and start flapping his hands and people will laugh at him and tease him. Another theory is that Bat will not be able to keep the baby skunk because he might cause a lot of mischief, or he might have a temper tantrum and the baby skunk could get hurt. This theory might be correct because Bat might have anger issues because it seems like he gets triggered easily in the book like when his mom did not bring vanilla yogurt he got very upset. He might also not usually like to play, but learn about animals and watch animals.

He doesn't like his mom to come home late because the author said he was getting nervous that her mother didn't come home on time. I think that when Bat's mom shows him the animal Bat will hate it for some time because it is the reason why he didn't  get this
vanilla yogurt. And i think the animal should be the baby skunk. Later he will learn a lesson that vanilla yogurt isn't the most important thing in the world and the skunk might become his best friend forever.Also he might stop being a little selfish. since i think he is selfish. Since he only cares about his yogurt! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Also i love vanilla yogurt too :3

Bat will get a skunk from his mom because of her work as we all know, but I think that Bat will face difficulties with the skunk like feeding,bathing,and doing all the things to care for it. I also think Bat will have some troubles with the Government or like Animal Shelters. Maybe Bat will have a friend in the skunk and have a real friend and share Vanilla Yogurt with the skunk! Also my opinion of Bat is that he is a boy who is different. A boy who may have anger issues and just loves his mom too much, that he worries about her (And Vanilla Yogurt). In my opinion Bat isn't mean or moody he lives a life you may not know how it feels like. He is bullied but may be nicer in the story as my theory because the Skunk. Maybe Bat may be happy because of the skunk. That's my theory for "A Boy Named Bat".
