A slide projector. A slide projector is used to view photographic slides by using optical and mechanical methods. It contains an electric light bulb, focusing lenses. The image may be projected onto a translucent "rear projection" screen. That is used for continuous automatic display for close viewing. This form of projection also avoids that people who look at the show interrupt the light stream or bump into the projector. Light passes through the transparent slide and lens, and the resulting image is enlarged and projected onto a screen. So the audience can view its reflection.

It contributed to the medical community vastly and is a great advance in understanding human anatomy. One drawback though is that it can not fully replace the complex abilities of a biological limb, only filling in the basic abilities of it, such as gripping or moving around, allowing only simple tasks to be done with it. It is often rigid and uncomfortable for the user with limited movements.

Floppy disks were magnetic disks created in the mid-1970s that served as a portable and reusable data storage device. Before floppy disks, information was frequently kept on large, non-portable systems such as mainframe computers. Floppy disks made it possible for researchers, academics, and corporations to store, transport, and share data or software with ease. This technology significantly improved the sharing of information, and the creation of new applications. However, floppy disks had a relatively tiny storage capacity and a high risk of being unusable if damaged. As technology improved, they were eventually made obsolete by higher-capacity storage devices like CDs and USB drives.

Henry uses carbon arc to create the heat. His invention was then proved to be dangerous due to possible fire hazards and injuries, hence, Henry’s iron wasn’t used globally. However, the idea of using heat was passed on and the new and improved electric iron is invented. This time the electric iron provided an electrical resistance.

The telescope allows us the shape the knowledge from our ancestors and the present into a more precise, and informative way, allowing future generations to understand and work on it more easily.

Hence, radio is really beneficial because it shares important information such like news, emergencies, weather and more. It spreads knowledge to people who has limited access to phone or television. Besides that, the radio platform reaches large communities. However, one drawback of radio is that it is a one way transmission which means listeners receives information but not capable to respond back. - Gaby 11IB

The telegraph was invented on 1837 by Samuel Morse. It was the first technology that enabled messages to be sent over long distances using electrical signals, revolutionizing early instantaeneous communication. The telegraph was widely used in industries such as journalism, commerce and the military to share messages across countries. However, one limitation was that it required specialized knowledge and skills in Morse code (system of using dots and dashes as signals), restricting the number of people who could operate it. Its use gradually declined as people gained access to telephones and radios later on. Nevertheless, the telegraph played a crucial role in the development of modern communication technologies, including smartphones and the internet.

-Rosetta 11IB

Learning and working opportunities increased and different tasks could be easily carried out by people for any purpose. Early PCs were highly expensive and therefore needed technical expertise to operate; these aspects prevented many people from having access to them and therefore created a digital divide between those who could have them and those who could not.
