I am so looking forward to learning with you this semester. 

Doing business is not just about making money. Good sustainable businesses also have social and environmental objectives and strong governance practices, which can make the world a better place for current and future generations. 

The business world is exciting, and being aware of the complexities of business activity offers many valuable insights into the fantastic world we live in. Studying business can even give us a view of the future. 

I look forward to meeting you all and learning from your experiences, ideas and views. 

We will work as a united team to achieve learning objectives and move closer to our dreams. 

Take some time to familiarise yourself with moodle, and prepare for face-to-face communicative learning.

Welcome to the SAIBT Business Fundamentals (BFS001)  flexible learning experience.

In this approach, effective teamwork,  connection, collaboration and communication drive positive outcomes and foster a positive learning experience.

Each member has extraordinary and unique strengths.

Post on the Moodle forum to introduce yourself to peers.

Use headings, bullets and short abbreviated forms to organise the information.

Task 2: (10 minutes)

If you live in Adelaide, be prepared to join the team at the UniSA Brookman Building at the scheduled time. Bring a laptop computer or tablet that provides access to online class resources.

Other students are expected to join the Zoom Live Class with the Zoom camera on, a virtual or blurred background in place, and the microphone turned off.

Review the Personal Information tile on the SAIBT Student Portal to ensure that all information, including the UniSA email address, is correct. 
Update preferred name details if you wish to use an informal nickname.

Open the UniSA Email box and check for email correspondence

Find and save several backgrounds with a business theme that can be used as a virtual background in class.

Update your Zoom profile name.
Use both your formal and informal preferred name if you wish.

Sign up for a free Padlet account to participate in weekly Class connect interactive activities
