Studies have shown that many of the most successful people are not the ones with the most talent, but the ones with the best attitude.  I want to learn more about how changing my mindset will help my students.  One of the best places to initiate a  positive change is to start with yourself.

I am excited to join all of you on this journey as we work through changing our mindsets for the better. I'm always looking for ways that I can support all of you in your profession, as I know it can be very stressful.  Reading the information about this book intrigued me. I can attest that changing your thinking through growth mindsets and daily meditative practices can positively impact your life to a degree you can never imagine.

I'm late in joining this book club because I must have missed the original email to join! However, while enjoying the Create tech conference at Anthony Wayne High School the other week, I heard several of my colleagues discussing this book. I LOVE reading and the title intrigued me - "Change your mindset to transform your teaching". I'm in the middle of a transformation of sorts myself right now and wanted to fill my mind with something positive that would impact my teaching.
