Every year, I participate in a Christmas cookie exchange with my friends. This year, I made lemon curd cookies. Here is the recipe if you want to give it a try.

I wanted to make something to thank my soccer coach this Christmas, so I designed a soccer playing gingerbread man. I sewed it using a blanket stitch and put stuffing inside. I gave it one blue eye and stitched one winking eye because my coach is always tricky when she plays soccer.

I am part of the Langley Ukulele Senior A Ensemble. At our Christmas concert, I was a featured soloist for "Oh Holy Night."

I am making Christmas decorations for the Flex E-fair. I have an assortment of different pieces, letters (first initial or last initial), wrapped stars and Christmas bulbs, including unicorns, reindeer, and santas!

We dried orange slices to make a festive garland and gave them as gifts. The oranges give off light a little like stained glass. The first picture how it looks when packaged (cinnamon and bay leaves just for show). The second picture shows how my friend and recipient displayed hers. A quick google will tell you how to dry the oranges in the oven. :)

My Christmas artistic celebration was....well...immersive. It wasn't something I made but it was something I did. I'm in Mexico and discovered it! Mexico is a fascinating place where foods, clothes, even Christmas trees are affected by "regionalismo"...people in different regions wanting to express themselves differently. It's awesome! Hundreds of sombreros were used.

Each year I paint a watercolor painting of a snowman. My mom gets my picture printed into Christmas cards. I sell the cards to raise money, so I can donate to charities in my community at Christmas time. These are a few paintings I have done. Merry Christmas everyone.
