Amelia Pim has everything her little conceited heart desires, she lives in an extravagant house, with her maid to do everything for her, in her lovely fair Dublin City, a beautiful porcelain face, a posh school, and even a lover. What could possibly go wrong for our dear little dazzling darling friend. Well, she thought wrong, very very wrong. As the labyrinths of streets that she knew so well are in crumbles, her romantic, floral view on war in shatters and her Dublin City and her lover lost, how can her arrogant mind contour up anything to fix this. Well, nothing's impossible for Dr.Pim. She is determined to find a way to fix everything, even if it mend risking it all.

I would recommend this book to a friend, because it is a very educational book, as well as hanging us on the edge for what happens next, and the cliff hangers are very good. It also tells us a lot about the lives of the Dublin people, and how the strived to protect and fight for their country including the risks involved within it

It is sweet and honourable to die for ones country, as it is a sign of recognition and dignity as they are not just fighting, they are deeply moved by the other team, and feel the need to fight not only for independence for them, it is for their peoples independence, safety and for their rights as human beings. It also shows the risks that the people are willing to risk EVERYTHING and put everything to steak, in the hopes of freedom, and to unlock the chains of death, devastation and fear
