Hiking can be defined as just taking a walk, but it is usually done on trails or footpaths. Some might say it is walking for pleasure. With the purpose of clearing your mind for a bit or even a spiritual purpose. It was developed in Europe during the eighteenth century. Since the pandemic began, at least in Costa Rica, more people have been hiking. Because of the lockdown, lack of spaces of recreation and exercise, people started to look for open places where the risk of getting infected by the virus is lower. For that reason hiking on mountains, rivers, and all kinds of beautiful places that Costa Rica offers to us has become more popular. I have learned that hiking can help us to relax, forget for a moment about all the problems life has, and is great for exercising. I remember the comfort, softness and warm of my bed at home when I finally got to lie on it that night.  We had been sleeping in an old couch on the floor for 5 days because of a heavy rain that was stopping us from going back home. I can still hear the words of wisdom my dad said when we were just about to leave. “Look at those clouds, it`s about to rain.”, and my brother’s wrongful answer: “No, that is just a crazy cloud”. Only if we had listened to my dad’s words, none of this awful experiences would  had happened to us.

I had been doing a lot of things by the time I had graduated from high school. My best friend and I had been researching and learning a lot about hardware and assembling of computers.
