Climate change/greenhouse gases

how climate change exactly works (physically).

Which role do greenhouse gases play (what is a greenhouse gas anyway) and which influence do humans have?

To tell you about how climate change works we have to address the greenhouse gasses. There’s no way around it. I’m also gonna talk about the human made and natural climate change in this article. In today’s world overcoming or reducing the impact global warming and climate change has on us is the biggest challenge for the mankind.

But how does climate change work (focus on greenhouse gases)?

First of all reaches the Solar radiation the earth’s atmosphere. Some reflects back into space but the majority continues its way to the earth. The other part of the suns energy is being absorbed by the lands and the oceans which causes the oceans to heat up which causes the whole earth to heat up.

The next step is that the heat radiates back into the space. But not everything leaves the atmosphere. The heat gets trapped by the greenhouse gases which also causes the earth to warm up and sustain life. Humans increase the heat and especially the greenhouse gases that get trapped in the atmosphere by their actions/activities. For example burning fossil fuels and agricultur. This traps unnecessary heat and causes the rise in temperature.

Without the manmade actions the natural climate change is important for being able to life on this planet but the extra heat is unnecessary and harmful.

Temperature increases like 1,5 or 2 degrees sound like nothing but in some regions that is a lot. The permafrost starts to melt for example and animals that rely on cold temperatures are getting extinct. Now it’s our challenge to maintain today’s temperature or at least try to stop the increase of temperature.

It is a global challenge everyone has to be part of. We can do it but it has to be together.

Green economy is this concept even though threw?

Fairness plays a huge part in green economy.

It has a more political focus but mostly aims for economy which aims for a sustainable development. The focus is also investing in resource efficiency. The goal is to improve the human well being. Green economy only works if everyone has the same goal.

For green economy to work there has to be a change in the system and that means that in some areas things can’t improve because that would be harmful. Not everything must improve. There was negative feedback on the green economy. It has been said that many questions are not answered by the government and it is not fully thought through. these questions are for example: who benefits from it?, who controls them?, who pays for it and to whom?

I think that the concept of the green economy is good but it has to convince more people. Some are just not willing to accept that at some point things can’t or don’t have to improve if the environment suffers from it. But I also think that this concept can be improved in a way that it convinces more people. You could search for questions for the questions above or slightly reduce the drastic goals.
