There are times where me and my brother don't get along, but there are also times where he is the only person I find myself feeling like I can show my vulnerability. I might be surrounded by amazing friends who are also special to me, but he will always be my bestest friend. He's the one person I know will never leave my side, and the only one I know will always be there for me. I know he would never do anything behind my back to hurt me, in fact, he will always have my back. I feel blessed to have such an amazing older brother, even in the times where he annoys me and makes me feel mad, I know he loves me. A lot. I really love and cherish my brother, and I'm extremely grateful that fate made us siblings. I could never imagine a world without him, the person I spill my secrets to, the person I cry to, the person I've lived my entire life with. He's been by my side for as long as I can remember, and I would never leave him. In moments of distress, I find that in this world full of uncertainty, he is the person I find peace in. It might not be a change since he's been by me forever, but as time went on, I realized how much of an impact he is in my life. Without my brother, I wouldn't be who I am today. Some of my best memories were made with him, and even to this day I will always have his back, and vice versa. I love him so, so much, and no words can help me explain how grateful I am to have him as my brother.

A friend that changed my life was a friend back at my chess tournament Every time when I lose a round or I feel really depressed when something bad happens to me, he would always calm me down and it always makes me feel better. The friendship was really special because we had a lot of things in common, for example, we both play chess and enjoy playing with each other. I would also try to make him feel better when he also feels sad or annoyed. I would also play sports with him when I had time, and we would also have a lot of fun together.

By the time I was in Grade 6 I had a lot of friends, like Oscar, and Jayden.

I thought I didn't need new friends, but there was that one kid, Reuben, who was new to the class, and British, so me being the helpful guy, I helped him get his lunch, and invited him to my table. We instantly became friends because the same interests, and he talked about his home, and lifestyle in Britain, while I told him about my life. He was the only friend that invited me to two of his birthday parties. I guess just having the same interests on warplanes, and Britain, just made us friends. But I also do know that God lead us both to be friends.

I had a friend in first grade that changed my life, I was new to this school at the time, and he was one of my first ever friend's I ever made in this school, he introduced me to football and whenever we play against others our chemistry will have no match for them and we always destroy kids.

I once had a childhood friend that made a impact on my life. Though we don't really talk now a days due to me moving to HK, she was someone that mattered a lot when I was young. What made this friendship special is that she and I used to share everything to each other. She was basically a sibling to me. What introduced us was our parents and to this day we would still send gifts to each other on our birthdays. She really impacted my past self and somewhat shaped my present self. My childhood was really such a core memory because of her.

My best friend is Hailey Lau. She has been friends with me for 3 years. She was the person who introduced me to K-pop. We went to my first concert together. We screamed on the top of our lungs, we cried, we had the time of our lives there. When I'm with her, time seems to always go so fast. She is good at everything, no matter if it's arts or english or whatever. When i'm sad, she would be there for me. We would chat for hours on end. Whenever i'm with her, i just feel so free because she is like the light in my darkness. I can talk about whatever and she would be interested. Her smile always make my day so much better. She is kind and supportive and helpful and never selfish. She always put other people before herself. I feel like she needs to be more open. Besause I feel like she is always hiding her emotions away. She won't tell me if something big happens. She would just hide it away deep inside her heart. I hope our friendship can stay this strong for the rest of our lives.

My friend changed my life by introducing me to Blox fruits, Sols RNG, Rivals, Jailbreak, Blade Ball, Taxi Boss, and Arsenal. I now am grinding too much in Sols RNG and Blox fruits. All in all, my friend gave me addiction to video games.

When I started non-native chinese I found a friend and they were really nice to me. They wouldn't be afraid or embarrassed if they had a secret to tell me and made me feel safe around them generally. We could always gossip knowing that they wouldn't tell anyone else. Overall I am grateful to have them as my friend.

Me and Clive met in grade 6 Chinese after he got transferred to non-native. Since then, he has never failed to make me laugh (even at the most random times eg. today). When I rant about my personal life or problems, he never judges me and listens. He is always there to support me throughout my decisions, and he is probably the only one who can make me laugh till my stomach hurts before 8am.

once I started 7th grade, I got a new friend he was really nice to me he would not be afraid to share secrets with me and he would share almost anything with me. He helped me with a lot of things. One of the most memorable things he helped me with was helping me set up something for my crush when it was Valentin's day. He would encourage me to be brave and give her the chocolate even though I was really scared. He would always be there when I need him. Like when I gave the chocolate to my crush, he was right around the corner watching me to give me the courage to give it to her. My other friend was also really good he would let me in to his secretes and I have known him since I came to CAIS and He was always with me with my struggles and my problems

I have one friend that I met because of basketball. She inspires me a lot because she is a really good shooter. She's a very supportive person and she gives me advice on how to become a better shooter. We also sometimes troll in practice and may or may not have some what bullied our coach, but I'm very grateful to have her as a friend.

I have a friend, where I have known her for around 2 years, we knew each other since fifth grade. We got seated together and that's how we became friends.

What makes her so special is whenever I'm having a hard time, I can depend on her and she can depend on me, she can always cheer me so fast, I haven't seen or talked with her for a year because I changed schools , and when we finally met up for a day, she didn't forget about me at all, I told her all the things in school whether sad or happy, it was so nice to talk to her. Now, whenever I'm feeling down, she always found a way to cheer me up. I'm so grateful for her and I will forever cherish my friendship with her

I had a friend once, that made a rather big impact on my life. I'll call them S. Our parents were friends, so we hung out a lot with each other. In fact, the reason I'm in CAIS now is because of them. S and their parents recommended this school to my parents, which is the reason why they applied.

Ever since I was a kid, I've been treating them like my own sibling, and I know S treats me the same way too. Back when we were younger, we would carpool together, and that would be the highlight of my day. S introduced me to my current favourite book series, and they also got me into writing (specifically stories), as we used to write a lot of them together.

I think that is about it. I'm not friends with S anymore though. After they immigrated to another country, we just didn't have that connection anymore. We used to google meet a lot and write each other letters, but now it's less frequent. I visited them last year, and the atmosphere between us was just awkward. Despite all this, I am still grateful for the positive change they made in my life.

This friend is really special to me, from meeting in playgroup to now high school she has been an amazing friend to me, although we are in two different schools, she has been an amazing best friend. She is always the one that has time for me, and she is always calling with me and making me laugh. We have many moments together, we went to Kcon (concert), Macau, Disney and we even have a sleepover. Sometimes we will even call for no reason at all, we will brush our teeth’s together and skincare while calling. When we last met it was when we were still babies, we were three years old in playgroup when we met, and now we are in high school!

I love her so much and she is an amazing best friend to me!! <3

I met this friend in fifth grade, though we only became close a year later. At the beginning of sixth grade, I didn't have many friends and the ones I did have were in different classes or had best friends of their own. I used to spend my recesses in the first few weeks reading. She came up to me one day and we started to chat. We spent time together until eventually she became my best friend. She was kind, funny, and a very loyal friend. What made this friendship special was that she was the only person I could have meaningful conversations and show vulnerability with. We had a game where we'd take turns asking questions, often ones with answers that we'd never tell anyone else, because we knew our secrets were safe with each other. Talking to her always cheered me up, and I'm so grateful that she was my friend.

This girl H.K (her initial), even though we are 2 years apart, we are still very close, she has helped me when I was struggling in marimba. She always supports me in all sorts of ways. And she also helped me when I was at my lowest. Always make fun of me in a good way. Chats to me until 1am. Although we just met 4 weeks earlier, the way we play and chat and do things together, it feels like we met 4 years ago. Looking back, she had trust me so much from the third day, we had already told each other things I never thought I would be telling the other person so early. We also found out that we have a lot in common. I feel really safe around her and I get a feeling when I am around her that she understands me and. I hope our friendship last forever.

Ryan C has been a live changing friend to me because we usually are with each other at school and after school on Tuesday and Friday.
