I’m a professional antique restorer and spent most of yesterday in my workshop. I am Michelle’s husband and yesterday was our 15th anniversary.  We celebrated by having dinner together,  I found her an antique pearl neckless which she adored.

Earlier in the afternoon,  I had met up with a colleague with whom I run a little side business. We trade mainly in jewellery and watches but lend a bit of money on the side. We're going to stop that because sometimes they don't pay us back.

I did not really know Christina well but I’m sad she has gone.  It will make Michelle’s job much harder.

I help people keep going when they run out of money. I’ve done it for years and Clarence has been helping me.  I want to make sure that everything I do us above board and he advises me on when to push and when to hold back. I did get myself quite recently into a spot of bother as you know and he is helping me stay clean.

I run a little side trading business with Charlie Park and I spent Thursday in the lockup sorting things out.  He dropped by around 3pm and stuck around for about 45mins. After he left I cleared up and then went out for a couple of beers with Clarence and some food.  We must have finished about 830 and then moved on to a place in Orchard Towers and had a few more beers. I lost track of him later on and did not see him again until today at here at the station. 

I invest in property and own a portfolio of domestic and commercial property in Jahor and Singapore. My father started the business and as his only daughter it was my duty to keep it going. 

Christina was my rock and I saw her as a friend more than a lawyer.  I can’t believe she has gone.  As I have no children I hoped that she would look after my affairs after I’m gone.  I have some health issues with my heart and one can never know when one’s time is up.

Stephen is also a good friend and I met him for dinner yesterday.  We had a fine meal on Club Street and discussed my new will.  I want to leave everything to the monastery.  I must have reached home about 1030 and went straight to bed.  

I run a company that designs and sells luxury yachts based in Queensland.  Much of the work is done here in Singapore with interiors in Indonesia.  I’m over regularly and Lee, Ho & Glisson have been my legal advisors here for the past couple of years.  I used to deal directly with Christina but about a year ago they shunted me to Michelle.  We arranged a meeting for Thursday and I went into the office around 950 and had a robust meeting with Michelle.  Christina joined us about 1045 but they would not budge.  I left around 1115 and spent the rest of the day on the phone to my teak carvers in Bali. I ate room service in the hotel and watched a movie on the TV.  I did not know about Christina’s murder until you called around 3pm on Friday.

I look after the office and arrange client meetings etc.  I’ve been with the firm for nearly 2 years. I’m really like the variety of work and the smart people who work there.  

Thursday was a pretty typical day.  The meeting room was booked by Michelle for a meeting with Simon Carter. 

I took my lunch between 12 and 1pm and Jason covered the phones for me while I was out.  He was in a foul mood and I had heard him shouting at Christina in the morning.  He would not tell me what it was about.  

I left the office around 1700 and went straight home.  Nothing much happened.  I watched America’s Got Talent and went to bed. I got into work at around 850 just as the ambulance was arriving to take Christina away. 

I’ve cleaned for the firm for over 3 years.  I usually start about 630am before they get in and yesterday was just the same.  I unlocked with my keys and started by emptying the bins and then moved on to the pantry. It must have been about 650 I looked into her room and saw her lying on the floor.  I called Michelle’s number and got Charley.  He told me to call the police and I did.  They arrived about 710.  I did not touch anything. 

The previous day I had gone home to bed and then gotten up and had some food. I went out for a bit after it got dark. I don’t sleep very well in the main and often spend my nights out. I make up my sleep during the day.  I suppose I’ve become quite a night owl but it works.

I’ve worked for Lee, Ho and Glisson for 2 years.  I am a Law Associate and tend to be given all of the grunt work around the office. I spoke to Stephen last month to ask him to put me forward as a future partner but I don’t know if he did. 

I was in the office all morning on the Thursday working on a new draft of Bo Jing’s will.  Stephen was going to review it with her later in the day.  I went out for lunch from 1pm-2pm to the thai place nearby and read a book. In the afternoon I worked on finalising statements for one of our clients, Ah Beng, in the afternoon and met up with him after work.  We had dinner and a drink on Orchard Road until late.  I don’t remember when I got home but it must have been about 11pm.

I came in fairly early on Friday and got caught up with all the police activity. Liily had called the police.  She looked exhausted and had clearly not slept. We need to get a new cleaner in my opinion.

I never liked being known as the boss’s cousin.  She treated me so badly and made me run around Singapore chasing after clients.  I would not choose to work here but my last job for a shop in Orchard did not work out.  I suppose I’ve been here about 8 months and all of them just get me to do whatever they feel like.

There is some crazy stuff going on here in the office and sometimes I can’t make head or tail of it.  I do know that Clarence is pretty mad that he hasn’t been made a partner and that Saphia and Stephen spend way more time together than work colleagues should. 

I was in the office all day but went home a bit early because people were getting on my nerves.  I played League of Legends from about 530 until 730 and then popped back to the office about 830 to pick up a document which I had left by mistake.  Christine was still in her office but I  don’t think she saw me.  I went to KFC on my way back and then back on League of Legends from 9 until way past midnight. I went in to the firm about 8am, saw what was up and called Stephen and Michelle. The police were already there.

I have been working with Christina and Stephen for the last 5 years.  We had all worked at other law firms and decided it was time to form our own practice specialising in those with financial as well as legal issues.  I had trained as an accountant before I became a lawyer and the others saw this as a niche we could fill in the Singapore market.

I spent Thursday morning meeting with a client, Simon Carter at the office.  He left around 1230 and I popped out to collect lunch.  I picked up some sushi from the store near the office and we then had a partners meeting in the afternoon.  It was just the three of us.  We went through our current client list and discussed where we were with each of them.  Christina seemed to have a lot on her plate and we agreed to support her. I was surprised that she was keen to get involved with Simon Carter but she seemed insistent.

I left work around 530 and drove home.  Charley and I had planned an anniversary dinner and so I wanted to get home to shower and change before he arrived. He arrived around 630 and we ate and had a bottle of wine.  We went to bed around 11pm. I was on my way to work the following morning when Jason called to tell me that Christina was dead.  

I’ve known Christina since she was at Law School and when Michelle and she suggested doing our own thing I jumped at the chance to work with her. That must be nearly six years ago now.  She was such a smart lady and a good lawyer.  

I came in late on Thursday because I’d been out with friends playing rugby on Wednesday evening and we’d been drinking until late.  We had our regular partners meeting to sort out workloads and stuff.  Christina seemed very stressed by all the demands on her time but I still can’t believe she killed herself. 

I had a meeting in the evening with Bo Jing, one of my clients.  She’s in property.  We went to a french place on Club Street and discussed her wishes to change her will. We did not stay long but I suppose I got home around  930 or 10. 

Jason called me in the morning and I came straight in.  I must have gotten there by about 915am.
