In Egypt, the population is mostly distributed along the delta of the Nile River that goes through cities such as Giza and Cairo. There is a clustered spread of population along the river as there is easy access to the river, job opportunities such as fisheries and port work, there is also very fertile soil near the waters which contributes to the factors of population distribution in Egypt

Areas of lower population distribution are towards the SOuthern of egypt for example in Siwa, Suez etc, as it is further away from the river and less access to resources and trade

There's a linear pattern along the River Nile (pull factor: fertile land, water source, transportation). There's also a nuclear pattern at the delta of the river Nile (north of Egypt) which is another pull factor because of its fertile land.

The population distribution in Egypt is quite uneven. The population is in a linearcluster, following the river Nile. Most of the settlements are based around the Nile due to them being quite poor therefore the Nile is an ideal water source for them. It is also useful for trade in Egypt. Egypt is a lot of dessert thefore there arent many large settlements outside of the Nile because water sources are scarce.

The population is very heavily clustered around the river nile, with the majority of the population living in the river delta in cities like Cairo and Alexandria. Away from the river, population density is extremely low as very few settlements are located there.

The main reason for the uneven distribution is the extreme climate and conditions of the areas that are further in-land, not only is the relief very mountainous in some regions. The lack of available water sources poses a huge obstacle for human settlements, because not only because of the direct affects of the lack of water, but also acquiring necessary goods and services is significantly harder.

Population distribution is unevenly spread across Egypt, largely embodying a linear structure along the Nile River and culminating at the bird-foot delta in the north leading to the Mediterranean Sea. Deserts to the west and east are quite sparsely populated.
The river provides a consistent source of clean water and feeds arable land nearby, building a fruitful industry of agriculture. The Pyramids of Giza near Cairo are one of the last Wonders of the Ancient World and attract lots of tourists each year. Hot and arid climate year-round deters settlements in the surrounding deserts as it is uncomfortable for human living.
