Or it is not perfectly clear that they are being biased. An example of this could be walking to the other side of the street when you see a black man, because that is something embedded in some people's brains, and they don't even think about it. They just see a black man and do it. Explicit bias is purposeful hate; you are aware of your actions, your motives are clear. An example of this could be saying you don't like black people, plain and simple, no explanation, just making the statement. I think the first picture is implicit racism, the second picture is explicit racism.

An example of explicit bias would be: A white male or female seeing a African-American male in a store and automatically because they are African-American, the white male/ or female thinks they are stealing because they have a perception that African American male steal. An example of uncounscious bias is an African-American girl is sitting in class and A student of a different, lighter color walks by and dosent approche her, because her uncounscious bias kicks in telling her African-American are mean and are not approchable.
