         <description><![CDATA[<p>Cee is a white woman who has postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS). She is also on the autism spectrum. They have recently experienced housing insecurity that has caused them to stay at a local women’s shelter. She is currently unemployed, but has an extensive background in higher education. She dreams of eventually going back to get her PhD. However, she knows that finding stable housing is the more important option. Cee has no idea what her resources are for getting back to housing security.</p>]]></description>

Bree is a undergrad student who lives in off-campus housing and works at a job near her apartment. She currently does not have a car and is experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression. </p>]]></description>

He is considered as "high functioning" on the Autism spectrum, and is currently in the SECEP Program at the local high school. He works at Goodwill with his older sister and is specifically oriented to structured/regular tasks, requiring occasional prompting. His extracurricular activities/hobbies include swimming (supervised), writing, and walking around the park with his family. He occasionally has anxiety-based outbursts which may take the form of throwing held items, screaming, or thrashing his arms.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Jimmy is a white man who has two prosthetic legs.  He lost his legs during a tour oversees while serving the military as a Marine.  He does not like being called a veteran.  He is currently working in a private IT company and is trying to adjust to civilian life.  He has been having difficulties trying to adjust to civilian life, and his job has also been giving him issues.  The office does not accommodate some of his physical needs.  His supervisor gives him a difficult time regarding his physical therapy schedule.  Jimmy wants to go back to school using his GI bill, but with the issues he is having at work, he does not feel he is able to deal with school.  Jimmy has a girlfriend who is supportive of him, but he often feels that he is a burden to her.  Although she shows complete support for him, he still feels like he is dependent on her, and he is afraid she will end the relationship because of this. </p>]]></description>

Frank lives in a residential home with three other people with intellectual disabilities. He receives a small amount of money each money that is controlled by his guardian. He does not have the intellectual capacity to manage his own money. Frank participates in a group day program in order to work on his social skills. Frank is not employed. </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>30-year-old cisgender female with PTSD and a single amputee. </p><p><br/></p><p>She currently does not work due her disabilities and is struggling with major depression symptoms. She spent a year in Afghanistan where she was involved in an accident involving a road side IED which lead to her amputation while serving in the Army. This injury ended her career as solider.  She lives at home with her partner and does not like to engage with the public often. She reports she has been drinking to excess and often feels like her leg is still attached and c/o phantom pain. She reports she doesn’t know what life now or what her purpose is. </p><p><br/></p><p>She has no history of psychiatric hospitalizations and believes that counseling is a waste of time as “no one can understand war and what it is to be solider” </p>]]></description>

His teachers report that he is has difficulty with social cues and has a hard time making friends with other classmates.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Is a 67yr old cisgender African American woman diagnosed with schizophrenia w/psychotic features in her early 20s. Her education background includes graduating from a prominent HBCU with her bachelor’s and master’s degree. She was a prominent athlete during college and active in her sorority up until she had a psychotic break and beheaded her mother. Upon her release from years of psychiatric inpatient hospitalization.  She lives alone, no children, and is estranged from her family due to the death of her mother. She may hear from a sibling twice a year, however, she doesn’t know why her family doesn’t engage with her. Additionally, she was in a car accident 10yrs ago which caused severe damage to her back, and she required surgery. She continues to have sharp pains in her back and visits the doctor often. She often has nightmares of the accident and reflects on the years in which her physical health were better. She receives 914.00 a month for SSI. She wants to move to somewhere new, however, she is afraid of being judged from her past and she has no support to assist her with housing. </p>]]></description>
