#1 - "For the first time"

Throughout the quarantine, due to the situation we faced and all the emotions, any comparison with that would become a refuge and a highlight of our day.It happened when I heard the song "For the first time" proposed in e-lesson nr 6.Despite addressing a love relationship and being far from the reality of a pandemic, it was possible to establish similarities between the theme and our daily lives. When the script said:
"Sit down talking all night
Saying things we haven't had in a while, yes
We are smiling but we are close to crying
Even after all these years
Only now do we have the feeling that we are meeting
For the first time", I really felt that.Besides that,I imagined that millions of families in the world, were refugees with their families, afraid of what might happen, nevertheless, they were discovering the pleasure of family moments, of conversations, of the union that often routines and the lack of time do not allow.
I have to assume, I got hooked on that song, as you can see.

I decided to comment on the text covered in e-lesson nr 8 because I felt that the message conveyed is a little inconvenient and outdated.
Firstly,in the middle of the 21st century, it does not seem acceptable to people to be judged by their social networks that demonstrate casual character and not performance and success while working.Furthermore, our most causal amusements, preferences or attitudes should not be valid for your validation as a worker.To sump up,I think we should try to end these mentalities so that everyone can have the right to demonstrate their value, regardless of their tattoos, lifestyle, clothing, or sexual orientation, for example.
