During the time of the winter vacation Nooni really wanted to meet her grandparents in Somanahalli. There she met many people like Mahadeva who was the helper of Ajja and Ajji. After staying Somanahalli for one day they left to Balepura for attending a family function. In Balepura she got many new friends like Vikram and Riya. In those days she discovered many things and places like car festival and Gangamoola. But she was curious about calling a Muslim family first for the car festival and taking their blessings. It was the family of Ibrahim. She was interested about knowing more about it and went in search of it . She went to many places and met many people like Srinivasa Bhatta, a priest and Sheela,a village officer. With the help of them she went to Marappa, who was incharge of keeping family history. Marappa told them the whole story of the both families. By listening to the history,one thing was clear that the car festival is not held for the real Yashoda -Krishna but for a women named Yashoda and her child name the Krishna . And Ibrahim was connected to Yashoda -Krishna temple because and ancestors helped Yashoda during her hard time. Then they went to many other places like Hampi to enjoy the vacation, and 10 days past there. Then nooni went back to Bangalore and waited for her next vacation.

My Opinion -

This is a very nice book for children who is very curious . And this book teaches us to keep asking questions and searching for the answer is very important I will rate this book 5 out of 5.

My opinion about this book: As a lover of detective and mystery fiction stories, I enjoyed reading this book. This book teaches us moral values such as we should never give up and nothing is impossible. This book teaches us that will power, endurance,persistence and bravery would lead us to success.

War and Peace begins in the Russian city of St. Petersburg in 1805, as fear of Napoleon’s ongoing war making begins to set in. Most of the characters are introduced at a party, including Pierre Bezukhov, Andrey Bolkonsky, and the Kuragin and Rostov families. Much of the novel focuses on the interactions between the Bezukhovs, Bolkonskys, and the Rostovs. After their introduction, Andrey Bolkonsky and Nikolay Rostov go to the Austrian front under General Kutuzov, a fictional representation of Mikhail Kutuzov, to engage with Napoleon’s troops. Andrey is then injured at the Battle of Austerlitz and presumed dead, until he arrives home to his wife, Lise, who dies during childbirth soon after. Pierre, meanwhile, has married Helene Kuragina. She is unfaithful to him, and Pierre duels with the other man, almost killing him. He soon becomes overwhelmed by his marriage and leaves Helene. He joins the Freemasons, which influences his personal and business fortunes greatly. In the meantime Nikolay has racked up a large amount of gambling debt, which causes the Rostov family to lose most of their fortune. He is encouraged to marry a wealthy heiress, despite promising to marry Sonya, his cousin. Nikolay eventually witnesses the peace between Tsar Alexander I and Napoleon (Treaties of Tilsit, signed in 1807). Andrey soon becomes involved with Natasha Rostov only to be told by his father that he must wait a year before marrying her. After some time away, Andrey discovers that Natasha has been unfaithful. He rejects her, and Pierre consoles her, eventually falling in love with her.

In 1812 Napoleon invades Russia, forcing Alexander to declare war. Andrey returns to service, and Pierre is driven to believe he must personally assassinate Napoleon. As the French advance, Mary, Andrey’s sister, is forced to leave her house. Nikolay finds her in the streets, and the two reconnect. Pierre, still crazed by his imaginary duty, is apprehended by French forces and witnesses a number of executions, which deeply affect him. During his imprisonment, he befriends Platon Karatev, a wise peasant. He is later freed from the French and promptly falls ill. After recovering, he marries Natasha, and they have four children together. Nikolay weds Mary, and the two enjoy a happy married life.

In the opening moments, that train seems to have been refitted as a high-speed rail. Everyone moved and spoke so fast — Jules and Richards were almost unintelligible — I was briefly worried that this new version was simply the old one played at 1.5 times speed. I once counted two consecutive seconds in which nothing happened onstage. Once only.

George's mother, seeing the note left for her, is not overly concerned about her only daughter staying out on the common on her own . So Anne, loaded up with extra supplies, sets off to the common and soon joins up with George, who has picked a place near a stream of cold, crystal clear water. An old cottage stands nearby, empty and falling apart, but George and Anne camp some distance from it, out in the open air.

One day they meet a strange boy. He doesn't give his name, but he's a cheerful sort of person and the girls take a liking to him at once—even if he is a bit of a clown. The boy is working on an archeological Roman dig nearby, and he would prefer it if the girls didn't come nosing about there. " Straight away I saw where this was going: here we have a set of twin brothers, one jolly and nice, the other a little grumpy, and neither one acknowledging the presence of the other and thus creating a sense of confusion for the girls. One night Anne goes to get a drink of water from the stream, and on the way back to the camp loses her way and ends up at the old cottage. And inside she sees lights and hear noises. But in the morning George convinces her she must have been dreaming, so the matter is forgotten. But when a storm passes through, the girls decide to take refuge in the cottage. So, with lightning flashing, it's a great shock when they see someone peering in through a window at them!

Frightened now, the girls decide to go home in the morning. But just as they are packing up their things, Julian and Dick arrive—back unexpectedly from France!

But there really are some queer folk about, who seem to be interested in something buried under a stone slab in the old cottage—the Five can tell it's been lifted recently. That must have been what Anne heard that night, when she thought she was dreaming! When the boys lift the slab to see what's there, they find nothing but dirt. Maybe the strangers lifted the wrong slab then?

When the Five witness a strange and eerie light show one night, with curious whining sounds filling the air, they quickly come to the conclusion that someone is trying to scare them off. So next morning they pack and pretend to leave, with a plan of lying low and watching to see what happens. A "farm woman" arrives to ask if they're leaving, and Julian plays along and tells her that they are on their way home. Then night falls, and the fun starts! What will they find? Julian and Dick hide out in the cottage to see what happens if and when the strangers arrive...

They've only been there forty-five minutes when the strangers do in fact arrive. One of Blyton's little nuances is to make sure her children aren't hanging about for long before something happens. Whenever they get ready to spy on someone or something, they just set out at "about the right time" and snuggle down into hiding. Then the baddies will come along and reveal everything they know in a play of contrived conversation. Now we find out everything, including that the "farm woman" is one of the gang, and that they are all trying to find the entrance to a tunnel which leads to some kind of treasure left there by Paul, their sick colleague.

Of course the Five get there first. I could make a very silly nitpick about the underground tunnels they happen across and explore. Harry (or actually his twin Guy, who I would assume to be exactly like Harry in all respects) is said to be twelve or thirteen, short and sturdily built—so the same age as Julian but perhaps broader. In the tunnels there's a particularly narrow section that everyone can just about squeeze through except Julian. Well, maybe Julian's the tallest—this is described a lot throughout the series—but I never saw him as sturdily built. Yet it's Julian that gets stuck in the tunnel, while Harry isn't even mentioned. Well, as I said, I could make a very silly nitpick about this, but I won't for fear of being facetious. Oh wait—!

Another nitpick relates to the entrance to the tunnel. The strangers speak of a man called Paul, who apparently is ill but managed to draw a map with directions on how to find the "treasure." The directions speak of the entrance being on the common near the dig, under a stone slab (apparently of a specified size) and next to water. It turns out there are two entrances, one within the Roman dig—this hole reportedly ending at a roof fall—and the other next to a stream right where the Five are camping. It's pure coincidence that George happened to pick that very spot when she first set out to camp on the common, but when she sees the stone slabs on the banks of the stream she realizes this might be Paul's secret entrance! Stone slab—water—it must be right!

Eventually the Five and Harry find Guy, who has been dumped in the tunnels and left with a hurt ankle. As luck would have it, the Five (plus twins) have a bit of time to get away safely because the strangers have gone off to get some tools so they can dig their way through the roof fall, which they believe to be the only way through. This is where Blyton conveniently adds that Guy's and Harry's tools have all been hidden away—good job too, because otherwise they would have been back in a jiffy and the entire happy ending would have fallen through.

Plot of the book : The Girl Who Drank the Moon by Kelly Barnhill, Xan is a witch in the forest. She is loved by the townsfolk on one side, and feared by the other. The latter believes they must sacrifice a child each year to appease her; but Xan, unaware of their reasoning, rescues the babies and finds them new homes in the other cities. She feeds each baby starlight to give them a hint of magic, ensuring a good life. But when she accidentally feeds one baby moonlight, thus giving her far more power, she decides to raise the child herself. So the baby, Luna, grows up with Xan, the small dragon Fyrian, and the swamp monster Glerk as her family. As Luna gets older, though, her magic manifests strongly, and Xan fears for her own survival as she is drained of strength. Meanwhile, in the city Luna came from, the authorities have a stranglehold on the people thanks to their fear-mongering about the witch. So when one citizen decides to eliminate the threat of the witch, Luna has to face the reality of who she is and what she can do in order to protect those she loves.

I’ve read several books by Kelly Barnhill so far, and the more I do, the more I wonder why it took me so long to discover her. She’s so talented at spinning a magical, atmospheric world that’s as rife with peril and sharper edges as it is full of whimsy and comfort.

I really liked the setting of this, a vast forest and various neighboring towns. The way the people have such differing attitudes and views, especially toward magic, felt realistic and layered. And the characters are excellent. I loved this strange little family of beings, from tiny sweet Fyrian to grumpy but affectionate Glerk. Luna is lovely, too, full of youthful wonder but also a seriousness that makes her a great protagonist.

As for Antain, the young man in Luna’s original village, his storyline was fantastic. I loved how it ended up intertwining with everything else in the plot. And Xan’s backstory too was cleverly incorporated. This aspect was particularly moving; memory and secrets are a major theme here. The way Barnhill explores both is wonderful. Really, this book is about the power of stories, but also about the dark power of secrets. Barnhill demonstrates that even secrets kept to protect someone can cause harm, can cause people to not truly know themselves fully. And the truth, even one that’s difficult to face or that will incite major change, is always better out in the open. There’s probably a commentary on censorship I could pick out here, but that’s just one former English major’s interpretation. I bet I could write a decent essay on that theme’s portrayal in this book, but I’ll spare all of you.

In the end, this is one of those novels that feels like it’s good for any age, and proves that “children’s” literature isn’t just for children. We all need stories like this. The author doesn’t talk down to her intended audience (middle grade), but also does show that there is a good spirit in humanity, despite the harshness that sometimes arises in life. The characters are delightful, with some fun banter and genuine heart. This book is a fairytale that’s sometimes dark and dangerous, but ultimately full of light and love. I really enjoyed it, and I think by now I need to accept that Kelly Barnhill is on my list of “I need to read everything they’ve written.” She’s so talented!

Aarav is a final-year engineering student who belongs to a middle-class family and doing an internship in a bank. He recently broke up with Tara which left him devastated. He had always wanted to become a stand-up comedian but could not because of his family’s wish.

Rick the owner of Ricky's Beach Shack was once a drummer and was serving the nation on the border. He loved Elisha and played drum exclusively when Elisha sang in the shack. Meanwhile, in Rickey's shack, they choose people to perform whatever they are good at. So Aarav got the opportunity to perform there on Saturday night.

Strangely, I could see myself in Radhika. I laughed with her, cried with her, got angry with her and felt helpless with her. Being a 25 years old who is earning a living in a big city is exhausting. Yet you put up a brave front and show up to work every day. When life gives you bumps like heartbreaks and pressure of arranged marriage, it takes away a piece from you. Yet you pretend that it’s just another breakup or fight with your mom, and move on. Life is hard if you are a Radhika. Yet you fight like a warrior and make it look like there were zero casualties (even if you died a little).

In my opp,

Chetal Bhagat did a commendable job in ‘One Indian Girl’. I’m amazed at how he captured the real essence of a modern Indian girl and presented it in a totally relatable character of Radhika. He also managed to expose the inhibitions and insecurities of an Indian man in 2016 that has less to do with a woman’s beauty and more to do with her brain. Although I found the synopsis quite unconvincing and irritating, the book was a nice weekend read.

But after some time, cam agrees to adopt her because of her pleading. As his part time job of delivering newspapers 📰, he passes by the Andersons house and noticed a mysterious face of a girl through the attic window 🪟. Ted was sure that she was not a Anderson family member as the Anderson's moved out two years ago and the house was now abandoned.

However, he got to know them and started to deliver food and supplies for them and that was the starting of a new friendship. The girl was April , a 11 year old girl 👧 living with her mother Alexa and her little brother Artic who came here to hide due to some family problems and told Ted to not tell anyone.

But Ted told about April only to his teacher, Mrs.Mitchell,making a promise to not tell anyone. But taking her own decision she told the Mayor about them and the Mayor and decided to host a welcoming party to the town for them .

Everything was going well , but not for long . When Ted went to call them with an half hearted mind but they were already gone . Blaming his teacher for everything that had happened and became angry and upset at the same time .

Suddenly, one day he got a call from April, really excited he answered and she told that her mother felt unsafe here any more and went to her aunt's house in Colorado that night itself even though she didn't want to, it was for the best and will meet very soon and her family problems are being to be ok and express her gratitude towards Ted. 😊

It's really nice story and the book is this says a mystery one but for me it doesn't give the promised mystery as Ted figures out who is the mysterious figure and why is that person there and after that does not much excitement ,thriller or mystery like in the first few chapters. Overall it's a really nice story for people who enjoy mystery .Room one speaks about trust, friendship ,forgiveness breaking promises , helping others in the form of literature. I suggest this book to everyone.

The story starts with the author describing the wind that blows on the hill. On Haunted Hill there was little to stop the wind-only a few stunted trees and bushes, and the ruins of what had once been a small settlement. The hill was infamously known as the haunted hill because of the dark story that led to its naming.

The wind was so strong that people living on the slopes of the next hill kept stones on their clothes while putting it out to dry. Three children, Usha, her brother Suresh and her neighbor, Binya, stood beside a low stone wall, spreading the clothes. Once they were sure everything was on the wall, firmly held down by rocks, Usha mentioned that she will be leaving for the market.

Binya wished she was accompanying her but couldn’t and Suresh had to stay behind to help their grandfather. Suresh asked Usha whether she was scared to be coming back alone as there are ghosts on the hill. Usha says that she will be back before dark and ghosts didn’t appear in the daytime.

Binya curiously asks whether there are indeed any ghosts. Usha replied with the story she heard from her grandfather. She said during a terrible storm one of the houses was hit by lightning and everyone in it was killed. Everyone, including the children. She also added how her grandfather had seen the ghosts of two children- a brother and sister- playing in the moonlight whenever he passed by the ruin in the hill.

Usha then went to the market and got busy in buying different things. After buying lots of objects, she went to a mochi’s shop and said she would come back half an hour later for her shoes. She then met her Aunt Lakshmi who took her to her house for a cup of tea. By the time she arrived at the mochi’s shop again, it was already beginning to get dark. With the shopping bag, she slung it over her shoulder and set out for the village

Holly Jackson's writing just attracts you so much that I bet you won't be able to put it down. Mystery, thrill, humor, and realism in the book is exactly what sticks you to the book. From mystery to emotions, this book is a whirlpool where you would lose yourself! It kept me guessing till the end, and none of my guesses ever came close. I don't think any mystery, any book has ever attracted me in the way this has. I loved the characters, especially Pip and Ravi, those two are adorable! And the killer...! You won't be able to come close to the identity of the killer. There is so much more to the mystery than it seems. Even after the discovery of the killer, there is so much more!

Overall, a great book, and I had a great experience. My favorite book forever!

When the rabbit see this he calls other animals to rocks which turn into cakes which she eats and becomes smaller and she wanders off to the forest. where she fids a house in which a duchess lives the duchess wants to go to the queen and makes her take care of her baby. When Alice goes outside she realises that the baby was a pig and she let it go. then suddenly a Cheshire cat appear and tells her to go to the hatter. When she goes there, there was a tea party after sometime she went away and saw a tree with a door. When she went inside the door she found a garden in which there were 3 people who looked like cards coloring a white rose tree red she asked them why they colored the rose tree. They said that they accidently planted white rose instead of red ones. then suddenly the queen came. and asked Alice to play a strange game of croquet. after this The Knave of Hearts stands trial for stealing the Queen’s tarts. In the middle of trial Alice grows way bigger and when the queen was angry she orders to behead Alice. All of a sudden she wakes up on the lap of her sister and she tells all about the dream to her sister.

Rudyard Kipling might sound like an old-fashioned writer. He is certainly long dead, and his personal beliefs make some grown-ups think his writing isn’t worth reading. Other grown-ups make children read his poems and other stories at high school, and that is often a sure way to turn teenagers off to reading, well some of them at least. But The Jungle Book is a truly magical tale. Yes, there is the movie by Disney. Rudyard Kipling, however, weaves the story of the ‘man-cub’ brought up by the animals in the jungle so beautifully his words are as mesmerising as the hypnotism Kaa the snake uses to kill his prey.

The jungle is brought to life and you are transported across oceans and continents to India. Mr Kipling shows you a world you couldn’t possibly visit, a strange world with different rules, which in turn makes us think about our own world in different ways. And this is a truly powerful thing when a book can do all that.

The story itself is better than the cut-down version Disney told (which is a brilliant movie, I think). It is a story of right and wrong and good and evil, a story of growing up and the responsibilities that come with it. It is a story of different kinds of wisdom: that of man, verses that of the jungle. Some of the most wonderful parts of the story are set in a ruined city deep in the jungle. But the ending stands apart. Mowgli must defeat Shere Khan, an animal far stronger than a puny human. Mowgli has brains, but of course the people who built the great city in the jungle had brains, but they have long disappeared, their cleverness comes with a price, you see.

You can get this book for penny’s, or buy a new beautiful illustrated version, or an old book with a leather cover that smells of dust and secrets, or you can listen to a wonderful audio reading. However you get it into your brain, I think you should. Transport yourself to the jungle and learn its laws. But beware Shere Khan there stalks.

not mainly to review but to tell you briefly how I landed up buying this classic.
I went to the World book fair’19 held in Delhi. And while exploring, I came across the kids' section and was curious to explore what kind of books are there for children nowadays. And there when I saw this book, I was overwhelmed as this gem is still loved by. And that very moment I put it in my cart. I realized how much I missed reading these books. And not only this, I ended up buying two other classics from this section. Blog posts about them will soon come.

Those who are not aware, who was Akbar and Birbal. Here’s the brief:
Akbar was the Mughal Emperor who ruled over India from 1156 to 1605. He was a successful general who adopted a policy of conciliating conquered rulers through marriage and diplomacy. Although he never renounced Islam, he took an active interest in other religions, persuading Hindus, Parsis, and Christians, as well as Muslims, to engage in religious discussion before him. Illiterate himself, he encouraged scholars, poets, painters, and musicians, making his court a center of culture. And this influenced the choices of his courtiers for the royal court. Thus, Akbar’s nine gems (Navaratnas or Nauratan) were made up of artists, musicians, writers, finance ministers, warriors, and poets.
And, Birbal was one of them. He was a Hindu Brahmin advisor and main commander of the army in the court of the Mughal emperor, Akbar. He was the foreign minister of Akbar’s court. He and Akbar became very close, a fact that made other fellow courtiers jealous of him. Birbal was very witty and intelligent who never gave up in a difficult situation and this brought Birbal very close to Akbar. Birbal’s wisdom was unparalleled in that era. His intelligence was renowned worldwide and emperors across different kingdoms admired him. He was Akbar’s favorites and was his main advisor in any difficult situation.

Needless to say, I finished the book in two nights. It took me to the childhood lanes where these tales used to be the moral lessons for us.
Today, Akbar Birbal tales are available in different languages to be it English, Hindi or other regional languages, and across different medium: books, e-books, youtube, etc.

The one I read is published by Shanti Publications. It has good paper quality, clear printing, good font size and supporting colorful illustrations. It’s a good read for kids. Adults should also give it a try as it will refresh your mind. It will leave you smiling. You will feel rejuvenated after reading this book for sure.

In the end, I would strongly recommend Akbar-Birbal stories to be read by all age groups as it will not only make you laugh but will teach you ways to deal with difficult situations in a humorous and smart way. Kids will have learning with fun, and adults can relive their childhood through it.

The human emotions showing dedication, struggles, joy, love, also highlighted settings on oceans, hospitals, schools and never ceased to flow seamlessly from one amazing character to another. Professor Lidenbrock discovers an ancient document containing a cryptic message that hints at a passage to the Earth's center. The trio sets out on an adventure, traveling through Iceland's treacherous landscapes and eventually descending into a volcano. They face numerous obstacles, including treacherous tunnels, underground oceans, and prehistoric creatures. Along the way, they encounter strange phenomena, ancient life forms, and hidden wonders. But after wandering here and there they didn't have a way to get out. After a few more adventures they got stuck in the pipe of a volcano and some how they survived and came back to the earth's surface.

Opinion about the book: this book is adventurous and complicated but it is wonderful. Some of you may not like it but in my opinion it is a nice book.

Plot of the book: This is the story of Julian, Dick, Anne, George (Georgina) and Tummy(dog) THE FAMOUS FIVE. The Five are enjoying a summer holiday at a caravan site near a castle called Faynights Castle.

They encounter a group of traveling fair folk and learn about the disappearance of two scientists, which sparks their curiosity.The children spot a face at a window of the castle tower, fueling their adventurous spirits.They investigate the castle, discovering a hollowed-out section of the wall that leads to a secret passage and the tower itself. Inside the tower, they find one of the missing scientists, Terry-Kane, being held captive by Pottersham, who turns out to be the one causing the trouble. The children attempt to rescue Terry-Kane but are captured themselves. The fair folk, led by the master of the fair, Mr. Slither, notice the children are missing and come to their aid. With the help of the fair folk and Timmy the dog, the children foil Pottersham's plans and he is eventually captured and taken to the police. Pottersham confesses to his crimes, and the story concludes with the rescue of the missing scientist and the return of peace to the area.

Countries later, the flower is taken by soldiers from the kingdom of corona and used to save their ill, pregnent queen. She is birth to Rapunzel, whose blonde hair contains the flower's magic, Gothel sneaks into the castle and cut a lock of her hair but it turn's brown and loses its magic.

She then decides to kidnap Rapunzel and raised her in a hidden tower in the woods, keeping Rapunzels magic of for herself. Each year on rapunzel's birthday, the king and queen release sky lantern, hoping they will guide Rapunzel home.

As excited, Rapunzel is fascinated by the annual lights and,on her 18 birthday, asked to leave the tower and investigate them, but Gothel refuses, claiming the outside world is to dangerous.

Meanwhile, Flynn Rider steals Rapunzel's intended crown from the palace. He betrays the stabbington brothers, his partners in crime, while being pursued by royal gurd- horse Maximus. Flynn Discover and takes refuge in the tower, where Rapunzel knocks him out and Hides him .

SUMMARY:- " Rapunzel" is a popular German Fairy Tale first published in 1812 by the brothers grimm. Rapunzel is a young girl with unusual long hair. Locked in a tower by a witch, Rapunzel falls in love with a young Prince and must let down her hair to act as a ladder so that he can climb it.

Moral of the story :- Is that true love can overcome even the most difficult obstacles, and that even the most protective environment cannot stop the natural course of life and relationship. It also highlights the dangers of latting obsession and jealousy dictate one's actions and relationship.

This volume is about Nikki Maxwell losing her diary and she suspects that she left her diary at school 🏫. After reaching school the next day ,she sreached the entire school but her worst enemy , Jessica and MacKenzie found out that Nikki's diary was missing and started searching the school . Nikki could only only imagine what would happen if Jessica and MacKenzie found her diary , they , for sure would plaster the pages of her diary around the entire school 🏫.

Chole and Zoey , Nikki's best friends helped her to find her diary but they couldn't. After reaching home Nikki was so sad and couldn't do anything correctly and even threw a 'pity party ' for herself. Suddenly her little sister, Brianna came in with nikki's diary and told her that she took ger diary to school a program and showed the entire school Nikki's diary.

Nikki was happy and angry at the same time but made her sister promise to never take her stuff without permission, even though it would still happen again.

This book 📖 will help us to perfectly dork our diary and even help us to find the perfect type of diary that fits our personality through fun games . 🎮

I really liked this book 📖 and it would be perfect for people who enjoy reading someone else's diary. I would give a four star review and suggest this book to all.

Then his younger brother Bijju came and catched Rajaram and gave binya her umbrella . After sometime then rambharosa came and told to binya that your lucky Leopard claw pendant is a toy for those picnickers you give the umbrella to me , I will give you a new bear claw pendant which is even more lucky than the Leopard claw pendant . Binya gave him the umbrella and took the Bear claw pendant . Ram Bharosa got his Blue umbrella and binya also got her bear claw pendant , everyone was happy she was happy and Rambharosa is also happy .

To know why Panchtantra was written, we need to know a story related to it. South Indian king Amar Singh had three sons, who were absolutely stupid. The king was always worried about who would take over his kingdom after him. When he told his concern to his minister, the minister arranged a meeting between him and Vishnu Sharma. Vishnu Sharma asked the king for only six months to educate and make the princes capable.

To educate the princes, he composed a book containing five tantras (subjects) which was named "Panchatantra". These Panchtantras were (1) Friend's Bid, (2) Friend's Power, (3) When and how to behave with the enemy in a friendly or hostile manner? (4) Ways to defeat the enemy, (5) Doing any work or situation after understanding it. His stories based on Panchtantra were successful in making all three princes capable. In this story collection of this book, the original stories of Panchtantra have been written in simple and interesting language. So that we can understand the teachings of these stories and become proficient.

Plot: Robinson Crusoe is one of the first English novels ever written.The author Daniel Defoe,was bankrupt and found hope in writing a novel about a man,who,ignored all warnings from his family,and went on board a ship.The ship unfortunately ran into a storm that led to him being stranded alone on an island on Orinoco River.Rather than accepting his fate and giving up all hope he learned to adapt to that island ,taught himself hunting ,cooking,pottery etc.He finally found a way to survive on that island.

Review: The original book of Robinson Crusoe was too tough for me to read so I got my hands on an edited version.I was finally able to grasp each word of this magnificent novel.Even though the book is over 300 years old, every time I read the book I always have the same words to describe this novel 'It is still as fresh as ever'.

She finds a small house where seven friendly dwarfs live. They let her stay with them. But the Queen finds out and tries to hurt Snow White again, this time with a poisoned apple.

Snow White falls asleep. prince Florian finds her and gives her a true love's kiss. She wakes up, and they get married. It's a story about good winning over evil, and finding true love.

Review: Treasure Island is one of my most favourite adventure books I have ever read.The words of Robert Louis Stevenson grasp each moment of the book magnificently. It makes me feel as if I am right there witnessing the story as it unfolds.The book is one of a kind and it is one of the few books that I couldn't recommend enough .

Review:Pinocchio is one of the timeless stories that I have ever read.After reading this book,did I understand why there is no child that I have met who doesn't know about everyone's favorite mischievous puppet.I have a million things to talk about this book.But for this short review all I can say is,this book is not perfect but that is what makes a piece of work a masterpiece,its perfections and imperfections.

Napoleon seizes power by force and ends up exploiting the animals just as farmer Jones had done. The novel ends with the pigs behaving and even dressing like the humans the animals tried to get rid of in the first place .

Plot:

Tom and other villagers observe spontaneous fires around the village, so they decide to ask help from King Hudro. Tom, being the nephew of the village head decided to go to the castle with his horse, Storm. There he finds out that he is the son of Taladon the swift. He also finds out that the very beasts that protected Avantia is now in control of an evil wizard named Malvel and are causing harm to the kingdom. Then Edward rushes into the room and shouts "Caldor is dead your majesty." He also holds a scorched gauntlet holding a golden key. The king turns to Tom and asks "your father served me once, now I ask you to do the same, are you ready to risk your life for the beast quest?" "I will" Tom said without any hesitation. The next morning, Audro walks into his room with a sword and plain shield. "Appearances can be deceptive" he said. Audro gave Tom a map of Avantia, which came to life, trees and hills rose up from the paper. Audro pointed towards southwest where a mountain stood dark and unwelcoming. "Ferno's mountain" he said. Audro tied the golden key with a loop of leather cord had been threaded through it around Tom's neck like a medal. "This will undo the evil magic if you unlock a red collar on the dragons neck" he said. Tom left for the dragons hideout with storm. On the way, a grey wolf jumped in front of them. The wolf was not growling at them, but at something behind them. Three soldier jumped from the bushes, shouting " kill the wolf and the boy". They shot an arrow towards the wolf, without any hesitation Tom flew his sword towards the arrow, cutting it in half. The wolf leaped onto the soldier, scaring them. The ran for their lives, that's when a figure jumped in front on them. It was a girl. "Well if silver trusts you, so will I", she said. "My name is Elenna" she said. The both exchange thoughts and decide to fight Fedro together. after two days and two nights, they cleared the forest and reached rocky lands. The animals started acting weird and the key began to feel warm. Leaving the animals where they were, Tom and Elenna started walking up the slope. The slope was abnormally rocky like never before. They felt a faint vibration under their feet, pulsing like a heartbeat. Tom crouched to take a closer looks at the slates, which seemed to shine like dark scales. they realised that it was a dragon not a hill, so the ran to get down. But the dragon woke and lifted its wings, throwing them off. The dragon was towering over them and its jagged wings blocked out the sky. Its head was coal-black and spiky, and tight around its neck was the enchanted collar, held in place with a golden lock that glowed with magical light. " While there is blood in my veins," Tom vowed, "and for the king and my father." "We must get that collar off," he said. "But how will we ever reach the collar?" asked Elenna. Ferno uncoiled its forked tail and lashed it out like a whip. Before it could knock Elenna and Tom, Silver bravely leaped in between and took the hit. The wolf flung in the air and landed with a thump on the rocky ground and layed still. With a tremendous roar, Ferno blasted an enormous fireball towards Elenna. Tom jumped in front of her and help up his shield. The fireball hit the shield with such force that Tom staggered back. The dragon retreated. Tom threw the shield to smother the flames. They quickly got on to their feet and ran in two different directions. Elenna began distracting Ferno as Tom tried to get near him. Tom somehow managed to put the key in the lock and break the beast free. The beast gave him a scale from its wing as a gift for setting it free. That's when a map which Audro have him started to glow. A manly figure formed in front of them, it was Audro himself. He congratulated them both and said " that scale will protect you from any fire attack." So Tom put the scale onto his burned shield, where a glowing spot showed up like the shield was ready to receive it. The shield shined like brand new with no scars of burning. In the western oceans a sea beast started to create waves in the map. Audro asked them to waste not time and reach there.

Review-

I really enjoyed the book and this kept me entertained through out my vacation. This is the first book of the series- "Beast Quest" and i would like to read them all.

Plot:

The story starts with Calum and his father fishing in the sea, but they are unable to catch a single one as the serpent had scared away every fish. Suddenly Calum notices a dark-shadowy figure lurking under their boat. Right as then, the sea serpent jumps into their boat, destroying the mast and flipping the boat. They loose their consciousness and when they came back to their senses, they are washed up on the shore. Thats when Tom and Elenna reach Calums village. There they see two people washed up on the shore by the waves. Tom and Elenna take Calum and his father to one of the stone cottages. There Calum tells everyone in the village about the sea serpent and what it had done to them. Tom and Elenna politely asked for a boat, but the fisherman only had one boat left. So they chose to leave Storm and Silver there as guarantee. Tom and Elenna woke up early in the morning and left for the sea. The boat was small but well made. Rowing the boat was not at all easy, a current seized the boat and it became harder to row. They saw a small rock island, where Calum said he saw the serpent. So they decided to go there. When they reached there, that's when the map that Audro gave them started tingling. when they opened the map, they saw a small figure lurking around the rocky island. They knew that, if the serpent attacked them now, they stand no chance. They also find a golden chain connected to one of the rocks which leads underwater. Tom touched the chain and said "this must be what's trapping sepron. They took the boat and rowed to where the golden chain lead to. They noticed something dark lurking beneath them. Suddenly the serpent surfaced, now they were face to face with the serpent. The serpent lashed its head to and fro, trying to break the collar, but it got pulled under water by the chains. The surface of the sea rolled as the serpent went back into the depths. Tom knew that its no or never, so he took a deep breath and lunged into the water with his sword and key. He took cover from rocks until he reached Sepron from behind. He held the collar tight and slipped the key into the lock and undid the lock, but the chains were still tied to Sepron's body. The Sepron bit the chains with its full power and pulled it. The chains broke and the Sepron came to its senses. At the same time, Tom was out of breath and he almost fainted. The serpent helped him surface. When Tom reached his boat, the serpent opened its mouth and a small teeth fell down, and the serpent swam away quietly. That's when the map that Audro gave them started tingling. When Tom opened the map, an image of Audra appeared. He said "this teeth will protect you from any water attacks." So Tom grabbed his shield and there was a shining green spot like the shield was ready to receive it. Then they both reached the shore and told everyone that they have nothing to fear now. The map showed a path to the mountain parts of Avantia where Arcta lived.

Review-

The "Beast Quest" series is one of my favorites as there are many instances of brevary, friendship and determination. I would also like to read the rest of the series too.

Lamuel Gulliver wanted to travel since he was a kid, but his family couldn't afford it. So he studied hard and got a job as a medic in a ship that goes to Asia. On the way the ship is hit by huge waves and it sank. Gulliver wakes up on a shore the next day, unable to move as he was tied by ropes. He saw many small humans and was astonished. The story goes on as he learns to live with small humans, helping each other and protecting the island.

Review-

This book was inspired by the original Gullivers travels, but it is also a good book to keep you entertained. This book also packs comedies as all the other Geronimo Stilton books.

Review : it's great film. Always I was tired ofPinocchio's film, has it always depicts the same story, however this one introduces a more emotional story telling and an astonishing soundtrack. As soon as I realizad this would be a musical, I throught it would be boring, but I was wrong. Althrought they all have Pinocchio's characters, I think the talking cricket, Geppetto, candlewick, and even Pinocchio are all far more human and emotional than any Pinocchio film. The way stop - motion is done and the scenery are build, tehy bring all the magic and the power which surround us. The winged creature shows conform and unknowning vibe that creates all the fantastic atmosphere we don't see in the other related films. Throughout the story, we travel with Pinocchio throught his contemplations and hardships, as well as Geppetto's struggle to reunite him with his family. The ending is moving, the cycle is complete and the truth of life is revealed.

Unfortunately, when he is four years old, an oddly carnivorous raging rhinoceros escapes from the London Zoo and eats James' parents whilst they are on a shopping trip in the capital. He ends up in the care of his two cruel aunts, Aunty Spiker and Aunty Sponge, who physically and verbally abuse him, isolate him in their ramshackle hilltop house and garden, dole out sadistic punishments for the smallest infractions, force him to sleep on bare floorboards in a prison cell-like room, and force him to do heavy chores most of the time that they never bother doing themselves (they also do not call him by his real name, but insults like "you disgusting little beast" or "you miserable creature").

One day, after James has been living with his aunts for three years, he meets a mysterious man who gives him a bag of magical crystals, instructing James to use them in a potion that would change his life for the better. While returning home, James stumbles and spills the bag on the ground, losing the crystals as they dig themselves underground. A nearby barren peach tree, in turn, produces a single peach which soon grows to the size of a house. Still both of them were excited to go. This is where the story actually starts and he was okay until he visited cirque du freak and met madam octa and creepy guy but after that, his life completely changed at all terms.

Their friend ship is both unexpected and intriguing-and Eleanor even visited Mila fifteen years later on a good will mission to the USSR. At first I wasn't super keen on the narrative switching back and forth from Mila at the front to Mila in DC, but that story line eventually grew on me.

• Greg thinks is being filmed without him ever knowing about it . He thinks that everyone in his life are actors. He tries act along and also comes with a catchphrase of his own so he cash it in after the show. But his theory about turned out to be fake hen Manny was born, he thought that his role as the main character was over because of Manny. At first he thinks Manny is a puppet controlled by a human , but as Manny got older greg that this theroy was also wrong . Then he thought "what if they all robots" to prove his theory he does ridiculous things like pouring a bucket on his father which got him grounded for a week . then he thought that "the robots ( his father) were waterproof or they were just regular humans" and ya he sticked to the second theory . Then he thought that aliens were real and houseflies were little robot drones that the aliens used to keep an eye on us while keeping a low profile. but he didn't understand why the drones were fascinated by dog poop . he said if mosquitoes were the drones we could have an alien invasion any moment now. Then his mother said all his generations of family were watching him from heaven which made the situation a lot worse because now he was extra guilty for copying tests. Then one of Greg' poems got accepted in the poetry anthology which turned that anyone's poem could be on the could be on the book . but anyway his mom thought he was a gifted child and tried t get him join the talented and gifted club but t prove that he was actualy gifted he had to pass a test which he failed . but his mom got him into a new club called champs they are kids ho can't pronuce r . The club turned out to be the coolest club in school bt then his mom hired a tutor to teach his R's which he did learn so he was kicked out from champs . Then came Manny's football game in which his team lost by 10 goals and still got a tropy which made him jalous . Then he got addicted t a boo named spineticklers which was horror story book . then he got the idea of freezing himself to see the future .But then he thought evolve into some creatures and then he may be placed in animal park labeled as early man well then for halloween rodrick got doll which makes creepy sounds when it heared noise but it turned realy creepy hen they removed its batteries but it still worked then at a there was a balloon race where whoes flies further wins. after flying the balloon 2 days passed and he heard a knok on his door he opened the door and found one women and her son standing in the door ay . they had greg balloon .the kids name was maddox and after some time they left but he forgot to ask his balloon back so the next day they went to maddox house to take his balloon back which was a succes and Greg won a jar of candy corn which his pig ate and the pig ended up throwing up in rodrick's van which also made greg throw up . ith that incedent greg's mom stopped trusting him.Then he deiced to join he music band to get invited to a mariana's house party . and his father had to buy him a expensive intrument . But even after that he didn't get invited but rowely got invited so greg founded the idea of a two headed monster to enter the party with him but then his mom came to party and took many board games greg thought he was going to get embrassed but to his suprise everything was going well. Untill rowley said he needed go to bathroom so they had to go home. the next day greg sees some chocochips and takes some well that some turned into a quater and then he spilled all over the floor and many then didn't make it back to the bag .then he called rowley to bring some chips . hen Rowley arrived Greg asked for the chips they were melted and sperad all over the area . so they were cleaning it and Greg went to take towels when he found a bag of gummy worms and he got the idea to create a movie with rowley and created a movie with the help of his mom's camera. after creating the movie rowley threw out a bag of gummy worms which the gooses ate and after eating them they wanted more and rowley ent crazy and started making animal noises after climling they had to call fire force to get him down and it got him famous and greg had to clean up the mess of the movie
