         <title>Thank you for meeting with me this morning to review your progress on your goals.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; This is what we discussed:1.&amp;nbsp;
 Observation from demo classroom resulted in you incorporating poetry 
into your interactive read alouds.&amp;nbsp; You have found the link between 
components of the reading workshop helpful for consistency. 2.&amp;nbsp;
 Review of DVD &quot;Teaching for comprehension and fluency&quot; has not been&amp;nbsp; 
completed.&amp;nbsp; I gave you my copy of the DVD for review.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Please remember 
that reflection notes and action steps are to be completed for this 
step.&amp;nbsp; 3.&amp;nbsp; Peer observation and feedback re:&amp;nbsp; the reading
 workshop model was done with one peer.&amp;nbsp; You indicated that you would 
set up an observation with Kristi C. during December.&amp;nbsp; Please remember 
that actions steps as a result of feedback are expected. 4.&amp;nbsp;
 Regularly scheduled meetings with SPED and Title one to review data and
 make adjustments.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; You indicated that there have been some meetings.&amp;nbsp; 
There was a question about progress monitoring for SPED students and I 
agreed to talk with SPED teacher to clarify.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Please note that progress
 monitoring data for title students is every two weeks and for your 
students below target should be at least monthly.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Please let me know 
if you have any further questions about the monitoring.I
 have noted your suggestion about getting books for the bookroom that 
support reading behavior instruction.&amp;nbsp; Thanks for sending that to me, in
 advance.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I will schedule a meeting for us to meet Monday,
 Dec. 21st at 8:45.&amp;nbsp; At that time we will review progress on goals as 
stated above and look at progress monitoring data.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; As always, please 
let me know if I can be of any further support to you in meeting these

         <title>Here is an example of how I would do it:Activity:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Visit Demonstration Classroom Goal:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Develop action steps toward effective implementation of reading workshop in my classroom.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Reflection after visit to demo classroom:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; ( I would list here in bullet form the &quot;take aways&quot; from my observation)Action steps:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; (I would list here the actions steps I plan to take that help me reach the above goal and when they will be completed)&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Hope
 this helps...bottom line is that it needs to work for you and help you 
organize your own thoughts and plan your implementation.&amp;nbsp; Don&#39;t try to 
make it too big and do everything at once here.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Remember you have 
other tools and resources you are looking at and they should build on 
each other toward developing the workshop.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Thanks for asking the question and let me know if more help needed....</title>

         <title>Dawn, Thanks for working to set up a visit to Tammy&#39;s grade 2 
observation classroom. I am excited that we have these rooms identified 
and available for all teachers. I did talk to Tammy this morning to clarify when would be a good time... After reviewing this weeks schedules, including data meetings on Thurs. and In-service this Friday, it seems we need to look at next week. I have asked Charity to get a day long sub. for Tuesday 
the 13th. This will allow you to spend enough time to see the entire 
workshop, which Tammy breaks up into interactive read aloud then some 
time in between and the workshop block takes place after her recess. A 
bonus on Tuesday,
 is that she has library after her interactive read aloud, which gives 
you time to talk. I know you won&#39;t need teh sub for the entire day so 
when she is not needed, you could consider using her to support students
 in your room or you could send her to the office and Chairty will keep 
her busy. So, please stop by the office and sign the leave sheet for
 Charity. Even though you are not leaving and it is PD- we indicate that
 on the sheet and it is a paperwork trail for central office regarding 
payment of subs.</title>
