When the tutor today was talking about the meaning of being cursed it made me think of this scene in Bird Box. its a good dystopian scary film if thats still what we are looking into.
the monsters of the film kill humans by looking into their eyes. however some humans can look in their eyes and survive but are then cursed with forcing other humans to look at the monsters and inevitably die. 
theres some good symbols in there i think and the idea that evil can spread like an infection and force people to take others down with them is an interesting concept we could build on.
