As shown in this screenshot, there are lots of options for you to get creative! I chose a vegetation background because that's where I've mostly encountered ticks, a main vector for my infectious disease.

Share Settings

Set your visitor permissions to "commenter" under "Visitors with a link". Click the arrow in the upper right hand corner of the screen to open the "Share" settings menu.

Author & Timestamp

Also under settings, make sure you have posts set to "Show" Author and timestamp. This way I can see when you posted and your name.

Padlet Format

For this class, I think the "Timeline" format works well. You can select whichever format you'd like!

Step 1: Pick an Infectious Disease

The webpage above was easily inserted by "upload --> link --> search web --> Lyme disease" (several websites come up, so pick your favorite). Remember to pick an infectious disease (one that can be transmitted) or else you'll have a harder time following the prompts. I chose Lyme disease, which is is caused by the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi. Read through the rest of these posts to get a better sense about how to use Padlet for Ecol 409!
