From this investigation, we concluded that Site A is the hottest and Site B is the coolest. Site A is an open space so the sun shine over Site A so it will be warmer. Likewise, for Site C, it is also an open space so the sun shines over Site C so it will be warmer. As for Site B, it is surrounded by buildings and tall plants so it will block the sunlight and will not be as warm as Site A and C.

Summary/Conclusion

We feel that to a large extent the primary data we collected supports our hypothesis of,the lower the temperature, the lower the wind speed.

From the data we gathered, the average lowest temperature is 33.1•c and the average lowest wind speed is 0.9m/s at Site B (Science Garden). This proves that our hypothesis is true.

On the contrary, the secondary data does not support our hypothesis.

We feel that our collected data may not be reliable as from the attached in primary data, our timing for both reading 1 and 2 have a big difference. The different timings may have cause the result to be different. Hence we feel that our collected data may not be reliable.

We feel that we should take note of the time when collecting data as different timings may affect the results.

Therefore, we would like to conclue that Site B(Science Garden)is the best site to build a speaker's corner as the science garden has the lowest temperature at 33.1•c as compared to the other two locations.Students can have a cooler environment and not feel as warm as in the field and the quadrangle.
